These things are the works of the devil. (John 10:10a). Or those things that God has allowed to try our faith and make us draw closer to Him and be holy (Hebrews 11:6). God might allow situations to make you have faith in Him, so in any situation you are facing, you need to have faith and trust in the Lord (Hebrews 12:5-10). God allows trials so you can be a partaker in His holiness. Remember the Israelite's journey to the promise land, it was full of trials to build their confidence, trust and faith in the Lord.
