FRUITFULNESS AND MULTIPLICATION (SOWING & REAPING)

Image
COMBINED SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE  TEXT Genesis 8:32, Galatians 6:7, Psalm 126:5 - 6, Ecclesiastics 11:1 - 6 TOPIC: Fruitfulness and multiplication: (Sowing and Reaping) We should know that God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19) and He has promised to bless us and he will bring it to past. God has decreed that the law of fruitfulness is to sow, no one can reap or multiply without sowing. Whatever a man sow that shall he also reap. Those who have neglected this principle of sowing have been suffering, I pray we don’t neglect the principle of God in Jesus name.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: SINFUL LIFESTYLE HINDERS FRUITFULNESS

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Friday April, 28th, 2017. TEXT: Prov. 14:34, Gen 3: 17 – 19, 23 – 24 TOPIC: SINFUL LIFESTYLE HINDERS FRUITFULNESS MEMORISE: “He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.” (Proverbs 22:8) MESSAGE:   Man in his natural form carries a sinful nature, inherited from our first parents Adam and Eve who went on to multiply the earth with offspring in such sinful form. Sin has been man’s root problem since his fall. The implication is that man lost the glory of God and fellowship with Him. God is of purer eyes to behold iniquity. After the fall of man, he began to suffer terribly; the ground was no more fertile for him and sorrows characterized all that man did. But Jesus came to pay the ultimate price for mankind and as many who receive him as their personal Lord and Saviour will have their sins forgiven, and the glory lost by the first man restored to them. From the experience which Adam and Ev

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Wednesday April 26th, 2017. TEXT: Genesis 1:26, Genesis 8:15-17 TOPIC: BEWARE OF DREAM KILLERS! MEMORISE: “And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? 11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.” (Genesis 37:10-11) MESSAGE:   There are those whom the devil always plant to abort good dreams. It could be family member, close relatives and even friends. In the case of Joseph, those that planned to abort his dreams were his own blood brothers. Whether you believe it or not, there are people who are not happy with that story of success and upcoming business, promotion, marriage, scholarship, employment and other things which you have told them about. It might surprise you that the person you gave some money as a way

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: IS YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID?

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Tuesday, April 25th, 2017. TEXT: Luke 6: 46-39 TOPIC: IS YOUR FOUNDATION SOLID? MEMORISE: “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3) MESSAGE:  The foundation is the most important part of a structure. No matter how beautiful a building may look from the outside and inside, if the foundation is weak, it will just take one terrible storm to expose the weakness of the structure and all of it will come tumbling down. Ironically, nobody sees the foundation of a building. It is hidden deep within the ground but it is the heart of the building. Only the builder knows whether the foundation is good or bad. The same can be said of our Christian lives. What type of foundation have you built your Christianity on? Is it based on the truth or on faulty doctrine? Does your foundation align with the Bible or does it align with the prevailing world culture. Is everything permissible for you? Is there a differenc

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Monday, April 24th, 2017. TEXT: Daniel 1:15-20 TOPIC: GOD WILL QUALIFY YOU MEMORISE: “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness….” (2 Corinthians 12:9 (a) MESSAGE:   Our G. O has a favourite saying; that ‘Life is not by struggle’ and that ‘even if you are not qualified, God will qualify you’. To the unbeliever, this might sound strange but it is actually very real and true for those that choose to rely on God rather than their own strength and abilities. If you choose to rely on your own capabilities and physical strength, then you are in for a rough ride. You will struggle hard with no guarantee that you will even make it. While a few might be lucky, most people end up working like an elephant and eating like an ant. If the race was for the strongest then a truck pusher should have been the richest man on earth because he expends great physical energy in his work fr

HOUSE CARE FELLOWSHIP MESSAGE.........TOPIC: ENCOURAGE THE WEAK

Image
HOUSE CARE FELLOWSHIP MESSAGE Date: 23/04/2017 TOPIC: ENCOURAGE THE WEAK TEXT: Isaiah 35:3-4; Matt.25:31-40 Every believer must be an encouragement to one another in the faith. We should know that we are the spiritual Israelites and as the physical Israelites are surrounded by the enemies on every side in the Middle East; so also, we are surrounded by the enemies of God and His people in this world (1 John 5: 19; Rev. 12:7-12). So, as a result, the unbelievers around, fight and persecute us, be they husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, father or neighbours. So, we should encourage one another. We shall consider this message under the following sub-headings:- 1. The Reasons And Ways 2. Our Expected Response And The Effect 1. THE REASONS AND WAYS  We should know that encouragement helps those that are weak or discouraged to be strengthened and to have courage to move forward (1 Kings 19:1-8). Also, for us to know that we are not alone and that somebod

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Friday, April 21st, 2017. TEXT: 1 Chronicles 4: 9-10 TOPIC: The Lord Shall Enlarge Your Coast MEMORISE: “Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.” (Hebrews 6: 14) MESSAGE:   The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 7:8 that better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof. This means that it is not how you start that is important but how you end. It does not matter where your beginnings started from. You might have been born into a wretched background with no hope. That should not define you. When a person has an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, becomes a new creature and old things pass away. He automatically has a new start. With Jesus, you can begin a new story. That was the case of Jabez. His situation looked so bleak that his own mother named him sorrow from birth and there seemed to be no hope for him. He would have gone through his whole life in sorrow if not for God. The Bible say

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...TOPIC: What Do You Do More Than Others?

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Thursday, April 20th, 2017. TEXT: Matthew 5: 43-48 TOPIC: What Do You Do More Than Others? MEMORISE: “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5: 20) MESSAGE:   As believers in Christ, we have been called to a higher standard than what obtains in the world around us. What might be permissible for others may not be acceptable for us as children of God. To whom much is given, much is expected. We have been given much. The Spirit of the Living God dwells in us; so we are temples of the Most High God. We have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus. Thus, we are expected to be holy just as our Father in Heaven is holy. We have been charged to follow the footsteps of Christ even if it goes contrary to the world order. While others might engage in unrighteousness that has now been branded ‘normal’

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Wednesday, April 19th, 2017. TEXT: Job 1: 6-8 TOPIC: What will God say about you? MEMORISE: “For I know him, that he will command his children and household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgement…” (Genesis 18: 19 (a)\ MESSAGE:  There are several instances in the Bible where God expresses His approval of a man. He called Abraham His friend and revealed His plans to him because He (God) found him faithful and obedient. He told Aaron and Miriam that Moses was special because of his humility and faithfulness such that He spoke to him not in dreams or vision but mouth to mouth. He also called David a man after His own heart despite David’s failings. In today’s reading we see God boasting about Job to the devil. He asked Satan if He had considered Job and went on to extol Job virtues as a righteous and upright man who daily sought to please God and ensured that he remained blameless bef

Hosea 4: 6 (a) reckons, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” A man bought a ticket for a boat cruise. After purchasing the ticket he did not have much money left so he decided to take along a lot of snacks like crackers, bread, groundnuts and the likes to snack on during the trip since he didn’t have much cash to buy food on the ship. During breakfast, lunch and dinner, he would lock himself in his room and snack on dry bread or crackers. This continued until the very last day of the cruise when he happened to meet an old friend that was also on the trip. After exchanging pleasantries, his friend asked how come he had not been seeing him during meal times. He replied that he did not have much

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...THEME: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE LOVED US

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Tuesday, April 11th, 2017. TEXT: 1 John 4: 7- 21 THEME: LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS HE LOVED US MEMORISE: “A new commandment I give to you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” John 13:34 MESSAGE God is love. He demonstrated His love for us that while we were yet sinners and without our appeal, He sent his only begotten son Jesus, who had no sin to die a shameful death on the cross for us. That punishment was what we justly deserved but Jesus bore it on our behalf. John 15: 13 says "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man laid down his life for his friends." The irony of the matter is that we were not even his friends at the time he laid down His life for us as we were still in enmity with God. We were reconciled to God by His death. Glory and praise be to God who so wondrously loved us even when we did not deserve it. As His children, He expects us to love one another the s

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Monday, April 10th, 2017. TEXT: James 4:1-4. THEME: EXAMINE YOUR MOTIVES MEMORIZE: “There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand ” Proverbs 19:21 MESSAGE Sometimes it is important for a person to step back and examine his or her heart especially when it seems that God has turned a deaf ear to our persistent cries. The person may have fasted, prayed, sowed seed and yet it seems as if the yoke will not break. At times like this it is important that we take stock of our lives to make sure that we are not the ones causing our own delays. Is there any unconfessed sins? Are you resisting doing restitution? Is there any area of your life where you are in disobedience to the Word of God? Whatever may be the case, you need to ask God to reveal it to you so you can deal with it. There is however another aspect we should consider and that is what our main motive behind our req

WHERE IS MY LOVE?

SUNDAY COMBINED SERVICE MESSAGE DATE:  9TH APRIL, 2017 TEXT: Malachi 1:6-10, Matthew 22:35-40, Romans 8:35-39, 1 John 4:7-12, Revelation 2:4 TOPIC: WHERE IS MY LOVE? The first commandment is that we should love God with all our heart. Matthew 22:37. The question you have to ask yourself is the love of God you have, is it with all your heart, soul and mind? Every Chosen or believer should show the evidence of the love of God. God Almighty has showed His great love towards us, His love toward us is a special one. John 15:16, Romans 5:8 The fact that you are a genuine child of God or a real child of God is not only by professing it with the mouth, it is not enough to say we love God or we have the love of God but it is not really seen in you. Many people claiming that they love God without demonstrating it is practically a false claim. The Lord is asking you today, where is the love of God in practical demonstration? Revelation 2:4. Many people have abandoned their love

HERBALIST CHARM FAILED ME

HERBALIST CHARM FAILED ME BUT AS I TRIED GOD OF CHOSEN, HE HELPED ME AND ESTABLISHED ME.  Palm 146:3 says, "Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." The above advice from the Holy Scripture is still very helpful and as many that heeds to it receive succour but this was different in the case of our brother, Sunday Nwibo who patronized an herbalist for a way forward in life. Instead of his situation turning around for good, his fortune turned for the worse, he was relegated below the point he's operating from before enquiring from that Witch Doctor.

KIDNEY STONE QUASHED BY GOD OF CHOSEN

KIDNEY STONE QUASHED Isaiah 44:26 says, "That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers.. " God honoured the word of our beloved Daddy in the Lord as he was praying in one of our services when he placed a curse upon a kidney stone ravaging the system of one of the attendees. As this prayer was on, a brother, Obinna who was diagnosed with kidney Stone Disease in one of the renowned hospitals in Nigeria was let loosed. This malady have sent many to their grave untimely but God of Chosen preserved him and even healed him. Before going into his testimony, let's see the meaning of, 'kidney Stone'

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Saturday, 8th April , 2017. TEXT: Exodus 23: 2, Proverbs 1:10, Mathew 7:13-14 THEME: DO NOT JOIN THE MULTITUDE MEMORISE: “There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death” Proverbs 16:25 MESSAGE: Our Bible reading for today is very apt for the times we find ourselves into now. Indeed everybody even unbelievers are in agreement that the world is coming to an end. This is because there is so much evil and perversion in the world. Almost all the signs that Jesus predicted that will happen before the end comes are being fulfilled in our very eyes such as wars, famines, pestilences earthquakes, false prophets and persecution of believers to mention just a few. Indeed the kind of abomination that is taking place openly now could not even be whispered in the closet just a few years ago. Evil is being legitimized with purity and holiness being branded as extremism, or at best old fashioned. The

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL... DATE: Friday, April 7, 2017. TEXT: Joshua 1: 1-9 THEME: FEAR NOT MEMORISE: “Ye shall not fear them: for the Lord your God he shall fight for you” Deuteronomy 3:22 MESSAGE: In our passage today we witnessed the mantle of leadership being passed from Moses to Joshua. Joshua must have felt overwhelmed with the task ahead. The task must have seemed daunting and impossible. How would he measure up to such a great leader like Moses who God communed with one on one? God’s message to Joshua was one of encouragement and reassurance. He told him to be strong and have courage. God promised to back him up as long as he totally trusted and obeyed Him. Moses was great because he relied on God. It was not Moses that worked all the mighty miracles but God and the same God was willing to use Joshua if Joshua would also trust and obey. With God all things are possible and we need not fear the battles that are raging or those that might come ou
