Topic: They That Trust In The Lord.
Text: Psalms 125:1-2, 2nd Corinthians 1:10, Hebrews 2:13
Many things abound in this life that makes us to run around or to be troubled. These things are the works of the devil. (John 10:10a). Or those things that God has allowed to try our faith and make us draw closer to Him and be holy (Hebrews 11:6). God might allow situations to make you have faith in Him, so in any situation you are facing, you need to have faith and trust in the Lord (Hebrews 12:5-10). God allows trials so you can be a partaker in His holiness. Remember the Israelite's journey to the promise land, it was full of trials to build their confidence, trust and faith in the Lord. No matter the problems of this life, those that trust in the lord shall overcome( Psalm 125:1-2).
So trust in the Lord at all times and you shall never be disappointed.

1. THE REASONS AND EXAMPLES
Everyone or believers should know that the whole world lieth in wickedness. There is no heaven on earth. The devils, demons, human agents have made this world a terrible place (John 10:10a)( Revelation 12:7-12). The devil is working tirelessly to cause havoc and to make sure no one goes to Heaven but no matter what you are going through, depend on God and have faith in God (1st John 5:19).
The Devil has polluted and destroyed the world ,making it a terrible place. Many evil things are going on in the world against human beings, against believers, against humanity such as persecutions, trials, problems, afflictions, diseases and more (Matthew 24:7). All these things are the activities of the devil (Acts 14:22).
Believers, you are going to pass through a rough road but there is nothing to worry yourself about because the road may be rough but it will lead to a happy home in Heaven. Remember the Israelite's journey to the promise land. So when you see all these activities of the devil, don't run to Him but trust in the Lord (1st Peter 5:8).
The Devil is angry and He is looking for who to devour so don't run to him but run to God. He alone will deliver you (Isaiah 59:19). In this present world, no matter the situation, no matter the problems, don't be afraid, you will surely survive (Psalm 34:6). If right now, you're facing a lot of problems and challenges, remember God wants you to call on Him and trust in Him (Psalm 34:19). He will deliver you out of all your afflictions. No matter the troubles or problems we are facing, we must never behave as though we have no one ( Psalm 14:1-4)( Job 14:14).
We should wait for the Lord and as we wait, we shall overcome (Psalm 125:1).
2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS.
No matter the trouble we are facing or the enemy behind it, we should not fear or worry rather we should put our confidence in the Lord like the Psalmist( Romans 8:31-33). He is the equal to the task. He is the all powerful and He is the all mighty. Human beings are limited but we are serving the unlimited God( Psalm 46:1-5, Psalm 46:7). God is with us and we can never be defeated. Trust in the Lord and He will supply all your needs and all things shall be possible for you ( Philippians 4:19, Psalm 40:1-2, Matthew 7:7).
As you trust in Him, Ask Him whatever you need and you shall receive it.
Trust the Lord at all times, He will deliver you, He will fight for you, He will vindicate you, He will heal you and will bless you in every area in Jesus Name. Amen!!!

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelieve is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God. Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Call upon God today in total repentance, he will surely forgive and save you.
