Hosea 6: 1; Joel 2: 25; 2 Corinthians 6: 2
All these periods many are weak and spiritually tired and down. Many have become spiritually poor. All the zeal, faith, love for God, evangelism and prayers have all gone down because of this short period the Church has been on lock down. Everybody went his or her way as results are eroded or weak and many are powerless.
You need revival and restoration, so that you can become strong again and do exploits.
SUBHEADINGS:
A. THE REASONS AND NEED FOR REVIVAL AND RESTORATION
Everyone's most cogent need is a fresh revival, fresh fire of our soul and restoration of every other thing we have lost in this period. In this period of absence from the Church due to governments measures to contain the pandemic.
Many have lost spiritual weight, virtues, zeal, love and fervency. Their faith has also been affected whose joy and revival is in fellowship in the house of the Lord. Many of such people have lost spiritual weight since the absence of gathering together in the house of the Lord.
Psalm 122: 1-8
I want to let you to know that every real Believer will be glad, every child of God will be glad to go to the house of the Lord. The house of the Lord is where we derive strength, joy and restoration.
We go to Church to give our testimonies and give thanks unto the Lord.
These testimonies rekindle fire and revival
These testimonies abound but cannot be heard because there is no gathering in the house of the Lord.
No wonder we need revival and restoration.
In the house of God, the testimonies and messages help us to search our lives and when we are convicted, we go to the Lord in repentance.
Those that love the house of God shall prosper.
The Brethren prayed for the peace of Jerusalem because of the house of the Lord. It is because of meeting God in the house of the Lord that they prayed for the good of Jerusalem.
As many that have not been in the house of the Lord in the last few months, there is that tendency for them to lose spiritual weight. You are not the only One. It also affected the people of Old and that is why they were always glad when they say, let us go into the house of the Lord.
Psalm 133: 1
In the House of God, God commands his blessings upon the people. Consequently, as many that have been deprived of this opportunity have become weak.
Many will say you can worship God in the house or even pray in the street. However, I want you to know that there is no place like the house of God.
There are different distractions in your respective homes.
Psalm 137: 1
You can see that many people cannot worship God in as much as it is outside the house of God.
Take note: Many will not sing the Lord's song in a strange land.
Many people do not go for "Morning Cry". In view of lack of fellowship in the House of God, several persons have compromised their faith and gone back.
Some have become sick, some have become poor. Many have been captured, and bound. Many are living their lives as if they have no father. Many are mourning. Many people have no source of joy any more.
I do not know your case and how the enemy has gone on rampage over there.
The enemy has fought many people through dream manipulation, through their thoughts. The enemy has fought many people using the environment where they are since there is no place to worship the Lord their God.
Many have been seduced and weakened. If that is the case, you need revival.
Zachariah 1: 15-20
The Almighty says He is jealous for us. He was a little displeased and the demons helped to forward the affliction and lock the church of God. The heathen has been dealing with the people individually.
Imagine a situation where they are 5 or 10 in the family, and only One person is Born-again. In a period such as this, that Believer will be persecuted and attacked.
This is why the Lord is bringing this message to show He is interested in you and He shall revive and restore you.
The Lord is saying through this message that all the heathen that have been afflicting you, He will deal with them.
God will comfort you and the Lord will return to you and prosper you.
In verse 18, you will see where God revealed the powers that scattered the people of God.
The four horns are principalities and powers. The Carpenters are the Angels of Heaven.
The Carpenters of Heaven have come to chase them away.
I want to let you know that in these times that we are in, the Angels of God has come because of you.
All the demons and Unbelievers troubling you shall be chased away.
John 10: 10; Matthew 16: 18
The activities of the Devil is to scatter and destroy.
Take note and take consolation, the Lord is the One building the Church and not you or me.
The gates of hell and the heathen can never prevail.
The Lord will build, revive, promote, establish you. Abundance of life shall be your portion.
After this service today, your life shall never be the same.
Revival and restoration of everything you have lost shall be your portion from today in Jesus Christ name.
The Lord is bringing you back to the house of God. Can I hear you say, Amen!
B. GOD'S PROMISES, OUR RESPONSE AND RESULTS.
Our Father in heaven, because of his love has promised us revival and restoration in times like this.
Hosea 6: 1
Be rest assured as we return to the Lord today, the Lord will heal us and bind us together. There shall be revival again.
Whenever we return to him in repentance, I want to let you know, the Lord has a good plan for us.
We shall live in His presence once again.
Jeremiah 29: 10
Am assuring you, as God accomplishes what he is doing today, he will bring us back to the house of God in Jesus name.
God has a good plan for me and for you.
Remember His good plan for you and for me is that at the end of this life, we will be in heaven at last.
God will restore us and heal us.
Joel 2: 25
I am assuring you, God will restore all you have lost and you will never be ashamed in Jesus name.
Luke 15: 20
I want you to understand that as we realize all our mistakes and wherever we have erred, and then return to the Lord in repentance, the Lord will bring back all we have lost in Jesus name.
The Lord will restore all the spiritual and physical virtues which we have lost and also restore the grace for Soul winning. I am assuring you the Lord will provide for us and give us blessings in Jesus name.
I do not know what has gone down in these months of lockdown, I am assuring you the Lord Almighty will restore you.
In any area you have offended the Lord, you will confess them and ask for mercy. Revival shall be your portion.
Matthew 7: 7
As you pray for all area that you have need or restoration, the Lord will revive you.
For those who are not Born-again, you must renounce the devil and all his works. Without being Born-again, you cannot enter heaven.
John 3: 3 - 5
Any body that must be Born-again must be Born-again of the water of the word of God and of the Spirit of God.
Romans 3: 23
As long as you are born of a man and a woman, you are a Sinner.
That is why you must be Born-again.
May I remind you that a Christian is not a Sinner and a Sinner is not a Christian.
Heaven is the place of those who have been redeemed in the image and likeness of God.
Romans 6: 1
We must not continue in sin, because sin is not of God.
Ezekiel 18: 4
Sin kills the soul. Sin separates us from God. If One must enter heaven, you must be free from sin.
1 John 3: 8 & 9
Sin is of the devil. That is why when Adam sinned, he lost the glory.
Jesus Christ came to destroy the Adamic nature.
Once one is born of the spirit of righteousness, automatically, that person is Born-again.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Romans 3:23; 1 John 3: 8 & 9; 1 John 5: 17a; Isaiah 59: 1;
You might be asking, what is sin?
All unrighteousness is sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, going for divination and palm reading, all these are terrible wickedness. No child of God does that. If you are into stealing, any form of stealing; stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin. Amend your ways.
If you are there and you are involved into armed robbery, duping people, do not bring such money to this Church.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into fighting and quarreling? Are you disobedient to your husband or you are beating your wife, that is sin.
Matthew 19: 4 Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
Are you among those that take snuff, take cigarette and banned substances, that is sin.
All these people that bleach their body and turn yellow over night, that is sin.
Those that make-up their body, wear earrings and jewellery, that is sin.
Psalm 139: 14; Jeremiah 4: 30
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Revelations 21: 8
People that are doing these things, the Bible says they will be condemned to hell-fire.
If you will repent today and confess your sins, the Lord will show you mercy.
John 8: 36
If you want to be free from satan and his sins and afflictions, come to the Lord through Jesus Christ.
If you are a Compromiser, come to the Lord through Jesus Christ.
Romans 10: 13
As you call upon the Lord today, you shall be saved.
