Topic: Warning To The Careless Souls.

Text: Matthew 7:21, 1st Corinthians 15:19, 1st Corinthians 14: 33,41, 2nd Timothy 2:15-19

        

Everyone who is truly born again and willing to make Heaven at last must be very careful in the things he/she does and we run this race to Heaven (Titus 3:8). In a race with rules to follow and if someone wants to win the prize, must follow the rules, and if the person goes contrary to the rules, cannot receive the price even though he is the first person (1st Corinthians 9:23-27). So our rule is keeping to holiness and true righteousness; and holiness and true righteousness demands that we maintain good works and be obedient in the teachings. 

So, we must keep to the fear of God and depart from evil. We must keep to faithfulness, humility and do the will of God whether convenient or not (Matthew 16:20-24, 1st Corinthians 9:25-27). 

Whoever that refuses His will and does what he/she likes will be considered a careless soul.

        

          SUBHEADINGS:

 1: THE REASONS AND CAREFULNESS REQUIRED

       

      Many brethren, pastors, leaders, workers and members of the body of Christ in this end time, are careless about their Christian Life, about their soul and as a result, they choose or do what they like. Such people should understand that that is not the way of God and it is contrary to the will of God (1st Corinthians 14:40) .Such people or brethren speak anyhow because they are not careful. 

They murmur, complain, backbite and speak evil of others. They come to service whenever they like and anytime they wish. Also, they dress anyhow and go against the instructions of the church. Such people should remember that without holiness, no eye shall see the Lord. Such people are careless( 1st Peter 1:14-16, Hebrews 12:14).

 Such people do not care and are disobedient. They have spirit of unforgiveness and bitterness and still claim to be children of God (Matthew 12:36, Matthew 7:21). We should remember to make Heaven at last! We must be holy (Romans 14: 21, Isaiah 8:20).

 We become children of light as we are born again and we should not walk in darkness but walk in His light and in His will( John 8:12)( Matthew 5:14). If a person must live their life in the light ,they must take their time to be holy (Titus 3:8). The apostles and disciples were careful to maintain holiness and do God's will(Hebrews 10:7, John 8:12, 46, Acts 20:32-34, Romans 10:1-4). We should aim our lives at living a holy life and not a careless life.

2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE, CARELESSNESS AND THE DANGER.

       

 We all should know and keep to the totality of the word and instructions given to us by our pastors or leaders and must not do what we like. No one should be careless as a Christian at all. No matter your qualifications, riches and privileges you might have, you must be subject to your pastor, to the teachings and must not discourage anybody or behave anyhow. You must be subject to rebuke or corrections. You must be subject to the rules to make Heaven at last (1st Corinthians 14:40). 

So we all should be obedient to the teachings and messages we receive and we should be aware of how we speak and behave( 2nd Timothy 2:15-19, Mathew 12:36). Don't speak anyhow to justify anything or to prove ourselves. We must mind what we say and do as children of God.

 Whatever we do after our salvation is recorded in a book. We must be warned of the consequences of disobeying God( Luke 13:24, Matthew 7:13,21-23).

People who are careless suffer it now and even thereafter and they will not get the benefits that true believers receive( Luke 16:22-25). Whatever that will hinder you from making Heaven, you need to get rid of it 

(Mark 9:43-48). 

Live your life according to the will of God. Don't forget that now is the acceptable time (2nd Corinthians 6:2). 

Remember we have been called as ambassadors of Christ so we must represent Him very well in righteousness, holiness and in seeking and saving the lost( Luke 19:10, Matthew 4:19).

 Our primary duty is to save souls so we must preach in season and out of season( Mark 16:15). Let's make sure we run this race very well and make Heaven at Last.

For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a, Isaiah 59: 1).

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.

Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.

Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.

If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.

Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God. 

Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin. 

Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.

The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
