Topic: God Has Come For That Purpose
Text: Luke 19:10, Matthew 15:30, Mathew 15:13, 1st John 3:8.
Many people that are here today have an important need in their life today. Some have gone to many places in search of solution, some have given up hope in life because of the problems that they are facing. Some are even wishing to die. But I want to let you know that there is hope, God has come for that purpose. He has come to give you solution. He has come to meet your needs and destroy the works of the Devil( Acts 10:38).
SUBHEADINGS:
1: THE REASONS AND THE PURPOSE EXPLAINED.
Many who are going about with their problems in and outside of the church do not know that Jesus Christ came for that purpose, that is why they go to various places where there is no solution (0lHosea 4:6, Daniel 11:32).
Knowledge matters a lot and those who know their God and knows what He can do, will do great exploits( John 8:32).
Lack of knowledge brings about destruction
(Luke 19:10, 1 John 3:8).
Some still believe that problems are beyond solution and that some human beings or demons will give them solution.
Those people are poor of Knowledge. Human beings and the devil cannot do anything.
They cannot be compared to God Almighty.
All power belongs to God (Psalm 62:11, Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37).
Don't weep! Don't be sorrowful. God has come for that purpose and He has the solution( Revelation 4:1, Matthew 15:13).
He has no opposition, He has no rival and He is not comparable to anyone or anything (Isaiah 46:5, Isaiah 43:10-12, 1st Corinthians 4:7, Philippians 4:19).
2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE BENEFITS
Whatever may be the problem you brought here today, the Lord has come for that purpose (Matthew 15:13, Isaiah 44:24).
God will make you rich, He will make you great and He will deal with your enemies( Philippians 4:1, Luke 19:10).
He has come to save and heal and nobody can stop or hinder Him. He has come for that purpose and to deal with those who are trying to oppose Him. He has come to fight your battles. He has come to give you your heart's desire. He has come to meet to all your needs and destroy the work of the Devil.
He has done all these things before and He will do it again( Mark 2: 1-12, Matthew 15: 30-31, Matthew 11: 4-5, Matthew 12:15, Acts 10:38, Mark 9:23, Matthew 7:7-8).
And so everybody shall go totally free because God has come for that purpose.
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8-9, 1 John 5: 17a, Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
