Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Tuesday, October 31st, 2017. TEXT: Psalm 103 THEME: GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME! MEMORISE: Taste and see that the Lord is good. (Psalm 34:8a) MESSAGE:   Another month has ended and God has been faithful and merciful to the Chosen ones. He has seen us through from January till now and we have all reason to declare His goodness and mighty works. He has saved us from the evil that is prevalent all around us. Many have lost their properties, health, limbs and even life but we have been protected and even promoted to higher levels! Glory to God of Chosen! Because of the Chosen ones God brought the economy of Nigeria out of recession after the declaration of His servant. God has provided for us and made sure that we lack no good thing. He has healed the sick amongst us and daily we hear testimonies of mighty deliverance from evil traps. He has made the weapons of armed robber to become powerless and made the token of ritualist t...

32 YEARS BARRENNESS EXCHANGED WITH TWINS (BOYS)

Image
The whole congregants were enraptured in Heavenly Bliss when the accompanying choristers sang the song "Onye ahụ merem ézé mụ ga-eme ya ézé, é zé ebighebi...,  which is literally translated as, He that made me king, I'll make Him an Everlasting King". This was because of what the Lord did for the families of Mr and Mrs Jude Ezike from Ichida in Aniocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Nigeria. The yoke of 32 years barrenn ess in their family was smashed and exchanged with two bouncing baby boys. This indeed called for great jubilation. The sister whom the God of this Great commission smiled on got married at the age of 16 and throughout 32 years of her marriage, she was childless. Imagine the trauma she'd been through but thank God for the lovely husband, exceptionally different amongst men.  He endured with the wife. He knew the wife was not barren that she's only waiting on God and at the appointed time, their stories would be turned aro...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Monday, October 30th, 2017. TEXT: 1 Corinthians 3:18-20 THEME: THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS FOOLISHNESS MEMORISE: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty. (1 Corinthians 1:27) There is a way that seems right to man but the end of it is destruction. Many have forsaken God in today's world because they believe in the wisdom of man. They rather believe in the scientific theory that heaven and earth was a product of evolution rather than God's creative power. They believe that human beings evolved from apes or monkeys despite the fact that they can not explain the reason why some apes did not evolve into humans. Science and technology has made many to question the existence of God. Scientist try to explain every miracle through logic or formula. Recently there was an article published by some scientist...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…Theme: THE ENEMY HAS BEEN DEFEATED

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Sunday, 29th October, 2017. TEXT: Psalm 27:1-6 Theme: THE ENEMY HAS BEEN DEFEATED MEMORISE: For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1John 3:8b) MESSAGE: Many Christians are running around and living in constant fear of their enemies. It is either a wicked uncle or aunty, a village strongman or woman, a neighbour, a co-worker, a friend turned enemy that is after their life or destiny. The truth is that we have only one real enemy and that is the devil. All the so called enemies that we see are only his agents that he uses to get things done. Once you can defeat the source of their power they also are defeated. Jesus came so that He can destroy the works of the devil. He not only destroyed them but also made a public spectacle of them. He defeated the devil once and for all and collected the keys of death and hell from him. Glory hallelujah! We are on the Lords side and...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: EXPECT GOOD NEWS

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Saturday, October 28th, 2017) TEXT: Luke 1:19 THEME: EXPECT GOOD NEWS MEMORISE: And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth. (Luke 1:26) MESSAGE:  As you engage in active work for the Lord, expect to receive miraculous blessings. One of God's programs for your life this month is to send an angel that will bring you good tidings. He sent this type of tidings to Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist and Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ. Before then, His angels had embarked on similar assignments to the house of Abraham where they assuredly informed Sarah that by the same time during the next season she would deliver her baby. All these good tidings translated to reality and there were great rejoicing and jubilation. Even today, God is still sending angels to go and deliver good tidings unto His people. In the case of Mary, Angel Gabriel was sent to her in the sixth m...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: GOD WILL AVERT DISASTROUS END FOR YOU

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Friday, October 27th, 2017. TEXT: Luke 17:32, Genesis 19:24 THEME: GOD WILL AVERT DISASTROUS END FOR YOU MEMORISE: And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. (Genesis 6:13) MESSAGE:  The bible records that at the point when the world had become very corrupt, God declared that the end of all flesh had come before Him. Subsequently, He destroyed the world with flood and only eight persons were saved in that flood which lasted for 150 days on the face of the earth. Since then the world has even become more corrupt than the first one as it devises newer ways of sinning against God. Without doubt, the sin of the world had gotten to God in heaven and He is determined to repay sinners for their wickedness. By the prophecies of the bible, it is certain that the world is about to face another disastrous end. ...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Thursday, October 26th, 2017. TEXT: Deuteronomy 16:17 THEME: BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS MEMORISE: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. (Genesis 12:2) MESSAGE:   Many people erroneously think that you have to be rich or have extra before you can be a blessing unto others or even contribute towards church projects. Many that earn little deprive themselves of open heavens because they feel their income is too small to remove 10%. They do not know that the reason their income is not adequate for their needs is because they are under a curse and God has not blessed their efforts. The bible said that he that is faithful with little will be faithful in much while he that is dishonest in little will also be dishonest in much. Which tithe do you think is easier to pay N100 or N100 million? A person who cannot pay N100 on N1,000 income will not pay N1...

FROM ISLAM TO CHOSEN

Image
FROM ISLAM TO CHOSEN Isaac Ibrahim is from Kaduna State, Nigeria. He has been an ardent follower of Mohammed until he got converted to a Christian in The Lord's Chosen. He was not thinking about sin and redemption, not until his present status. He was not worried about heaven and hell. Having a personal relationship with Jesus was only a distant suggestion of a thought. No, all he wanted was to follow Islamic dictates and manner of worship. Happy to say, however, these ideologies have  all treaded the easily-forgetful path of history.

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE WORLD

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Wednesday, October 25th, 2017. TEXT: Matthew 5:13 THEME: YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE WORLD MEMORISE: 34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (Luke 14:34-35) MESSAGE:  Salt is an important ingredient when cooking. Without it the food that is being prepared will have no flavour. It will be bland and tasteless. You can do without other seasonings but you can not prepare a delicious meal without adding salt. Aside from being a seasoning, it is also used as a preservative. If you rub salt on meat even if you do not put it in the fridge or freezer it will prevent it from spoiling. It is also a cleansing agent and can be used to wash off bacteria and germs. From the foregoing we can see that salt is a very useful and import ingredient. It is therefore not su...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…DON'T LOSE YOUR PLACE

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Tuesday, October 24th, 2017. TEXT: Acts 1:16-26 THEME: DON'T LOSE YOUR PLACE MEMORISE: Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. (Luke 3:8) MESSAGE:   The way some people behave you will think that they are doing God a favour by serving Him. They grudgingly give their tithes and offering and complain when pledges are called for special projects. They also find it hard to offer their services to the church and always complained about others who serve willing. They find fault in almost everything that is going on in the church. Even when they pray to God they give Him ultimatum such as if He does not answer them within a particular time frame, they will stop coming to church or stop serving Him. If they stop serving Him who is the loser? Is it God that w...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: HE WILL KEEP YOU SAFE

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Monday, October 23rd, 2017. TEXT: Psalm 91 THEME: HE WILL KEEP YOU SAFE MEMORISE: Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. (Psalm 55:6) MESSAGE:   It is easy to be fearful as one hears the news of what is happening all around the world. Every day it is a new story of terror and disaster. The heart of men has grown desperately wicked in these end times that when you hear of the atrocities committed nowadays you begin to wonder if indeed the perpetrators are human beings. Every day one goes out and comes back home safely is a reason to thank God. There is no safe place. Bombs are going off in the market places, robbers are attacking offices and homes, children and adults are being kidnapped off the streets, natural disasters are happening every day, fire outbreaks, accidents, murders, incurable and deadly diseases are spreading daily and economic recession etc...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: ITS TIME TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Sunday, October 22nd, 2017. TEXT: Genesis 1:26-28 THEME: ITS TIME TO GO TO THE NEXT LEVEL Memorise: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. (Romans 8:19) MESSAGE:   Stagnation is not in God's vocabulary. He wants you to keep on attaining new heights everyday and conquering new territories. You never should feel that you have arrived after achieving some level of success. Thank God for making you to achieve that height and get ready to move on to a new challenge. God created us to have dominion. His original plan was for us to dominate His creation. Consequently, that means that God has deposited a lot of potential in us which the average man fails to apply. Many of us are just living an average life while the plan of God for us is to excel and dominate. We are satisfied with just having enough to care for our immediate families and a bit of excess for small pleasure...

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Friday, October 20th, 2017. TEXT: Philippians 4:4 THEME: REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS MEMORISE: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10b) MESSAGE:   The bible tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. This means that as Christians we should continually rejoice in the Lord. No matter the circumstances you find yourself in you, have been commanded to rejoice. This is because the assurance that we have in Christ for a glorious future far outweighs any temporary discomfort or pain we might be facing presently.  Aside from this, the fact that God has promised to give us victory, it is also a cause for us to rejoice. He has promised never to forsake or leave us. He has promised that whatever we ask for in His name shall be granted as long as we are obedient to His word. When we are sad, we allow the devil to introduce evil thoughts that will lead us away from Christ....

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…THEME: BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Thursday, October 19th, 2017. TEXT: Luke 6:43-44 THEME: BY THEIR FRUITS YOU SHALL KNOW THEM MEMORISE: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. (Matthew7: 20) MESSAGE:  There are so many people claiming to be Christians today peddling different doctrines of grace, liberty and freedom that if one is not grounded in the word it is easy to be deceived. The good thing is that the bible foretold these times so that it will not take us by surprise. Indeed, there are many teachings today that encourage people to continue to live a godless life while still claiming to be born again. They have removed the transforming/redemption power of the gospel from their messages and propagate the deception that nobody can live a pure or holy life despite the fact that God commanded that we should be holy even as He is holy. God will not tell us to do something that He knows is not possible. His commands are not burdensome or grievous. ...

TEXT: 2 Timothy 2:15 THEME: STUDY TO SHEW THY SELF APPROVED MEMORISE: Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. (1 Corinthians 3:13)

THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

Image
THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL… DATE: Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. TEXT: 1 Timothy 2:1-4 THEME: ITS TIME TO STAND IN THE GAP MEMORISE: Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. (Isaiah 6:8) MESSAGE:   The whole world is in turmoil. Everywhere you look, there is disaster and crisis. There is nowhere that is at peace. Stories of daily terrorist attacks all over the world in both developed and developing nations, natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, flooding and tsunamis, etc, have become common place, rumours of war and senseless killings all over the world. In addition, we hear of new deadly incurable and highly infectious diseases that have the potential to wipe out whole populations if care is not taken. Even the places people used to think were places of security and refuge are no longer at ease. If you turn on the news, it is bad news all day and nowhere is at peace...
