THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Psalm 27:1-6

Theme: THE ENEMY HAS BEEN DEFEATED

MEMORISE: For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1John 3:8b)

MESSAGE:

Many Christians are running around and living in constant fear of their enemies. It is either a wicked uncle or aunty, a village strongman or woman, a neighbour, a co-worker, a friend turned enemy that is after their life or destiny. The truth is that we have only one real enemy and that is the devil. All the so called enemies that we see are only his agents that he uses to get things done. Once you can defeat the source of their power they also are defeated.

Jesus came so that He can destroy the works of the devil. He not only destroyed them but also made a public spectacle of them. He defeated the devil once and for all and collected the keys of death and hell from him. Glory hallelujah! We are on the Lords side and therefore are on the winning side. The devil nor his agents have no power over us. They can only try but they have no hold over us.

The bible says God has given us authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing can harm us. If God is for us who can be against us? His angels watch over us night and day. All you have to do is continue living right and maintain purity inside and outside and you will sit back and watch God avenge you of your enemies. He will set a table before you and anoint your head with oil in their very presence.

So do not be afraid because your enemies have already been defeated. They have lost the battle.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Thank you Lord for defeating all my known and unknown enemies and giving me victory over them, in Jesus' name.

2. I stand against every enemy waging war against me and command the Holy Ghost fire to consume them, in Jesus' name.

3. All the enemies of The Lords Chosen Charismatic Revival ministries receive fire of the Holy Ghost. I bind and cast you into the abyss in Jesus' name.

4. Any battle going on against our G. O, Mummy in the Lord and their children, end in defeat for the enemy, in Jesus' name.
