Topic: Preparation For The Rapture Of The Saints (Part 1)
Text: Amos 4:12, 1st Corinthians 15:51-52, 1st Thes 4:3-7, 1st Thes 4:13-18.
Every believer should read the handwriting on the wall and should reflect on the prophecies of the end time ( Matthew 24:1-8).
All these prophecies are being fulfilled now and as a believer, you need to prepare for the rapture of the saints. Many signs abound which shows us that this is the end time and that rapture which is the next thing on God's program is at hand (Revelation 1:3, Romans 13:11-12).
Everyone that is born again and willing to make Heaven at last must take advantage of this message and make the necessary preparation. Remember Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people (Matthew 25:10).
Any believer that is careless might not be ready and then will miss the rapture. So be ready at all times (John 14:1-3).
Heaven is holy, God is holy, Jesus is holy likewise the Holy spirit, the Angels and those dwelling in Heaven are holy as well (Psalm 47:7, 1st Peter 1:16, Acts 4:30, Acts 5:3, Matthew 25:31, Revelation 21:1-2).
We should get ready and prepare in every moment.
It is the time for us to prepare by ensuring holiness on every side ( Ephesians 5:26-27).

1: PREPARATION REQUIRED AND THE REASONS.
We have seen in the introduction above that God is holy, Heaven is holy and all the dwellers in Heaven are all holy (Hebrews 12:14).
All born again believers no matter the status, or wealth must prepare ourselves and others and be holy. We must ensure peace with all men and maintain Holiness. Remember we are commanded to do so (1 Peter 1:15-16).
No one should joke with this message.
We must prepare ( Matthew 5:8-9).
We must search our lives and ensure that we do restitution or amendment where necessary. We should make sure that nothing is standing between us and God. We should make sure that God won't see any evil in us (Numbers 32:23, Matthew 7:21-23).
Let this preparation be taken seriously.
Our Father in Heaven is too holy to dwell in iniquity (1st Peter 1:15-16, Habbakuk 1:13).
Many believers are too busy with the affairs of this life but do not bother about their eternal well being. They plunge themselves into hatred, envy, speaking evil. Many people that do this claim to be holy. They can as well be unforgiving, proud, causing problems among people. Remember God is Holy and we should prepare ourselves for the rapture of the saints ( 2nd Timothy 2:19, Numbers 32:23, Luke 13:1-2). Make sure that you are standing right in the side of God (Amos 4:12).
2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND THE DANGER OF NEGLECTm
Remember that there will be no time for amendment when rapture takes place, so now is the time to prepare (Hebrews 9:27).
No preparation after death or after the rapture (2nd Corinthians 13:2).
We should draw our differences of my church, attitude and do the same thing as one body of Christ (Philippians 3:16, Romans 13:11-14).
Let us not allow the flesh to decieve us. Every one should hold onto Jesus Christ and follow Jesus Christ in peace, holiness, righteousness and in obedience to God's word. Let us follow Jesus Christ's example (Mathew 7:21, Matthew 5:3-10).
We should go on to win others and evangelize the word in this end time. We should not fight against each other (Ephesians 6:10-12).
Our fight is not against each other or against churches but against the devil. And as we maintain Holiness on every side, we should also go out and preach the gospel to win souls to the Kingdom (Mark 16:15, John 15:16).
We should aim at winning every soul that is not saved (Joel 3:14).
Let's stop teaching our members hatred but let us preach love to one another ( 1st John 3:9-10). If we identify with wrong or evil character, we will not be identified as a child of God (1st Corinthians 13:4-8).
So let us maintain divine love and Godly love. Let the whole churches begin to live their lives in righteousness and maintain peace( John 17: 20-22, 1st John 4:7-8, John 13:34-35). Let's love our brethren. Let's love one another and pray for one another (Hebrews 12:14). And if there is no peace and holiness in you, it will impose a great danger of missing Heaven at last so we should therefore love one another and maintain peace and holiness on every side.
For Sinners and Backsliders, confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour (Romans 3:23, 1 John 3: 8 & 9, 1 John 5: 17a, Isaiah 59: 1).
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion; that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness; all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God.
Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband? that is sin.
Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
