TOPIC: WHAT DOES THIS TIME REQUIRE PART 2

MINISTERING: General Overseer

Amos 4: 12; Acts 6: 4; Hebrews 10: 25;
Knowing fully that there is no more time and the coming of Jesus Christ our Saviour, our Messiah is at hand, we must take advantage of the now. This is the only way we are sure.

Every one must draw closer to God in true commitment and dedication. Many things will attempt to draw our attention away from the focus on God. Those things will appear attractive and beneficial. However, know it that the coming of the Lord is at hand.

Romans 13:11
The night is far spent the day is at hand, there is no more time. The rapture is at hand. The end of all things is at hand. We must handle everything that is outside the gospel with a light hand. We must not allow ourselves to be entangled. Nothing should hinder us from our progressive walk with God.

1 Corinthians 7:29 & 30
The time is short. If you are given to marriage, do not be entangled by it. If you are weeping, do not allow that weeping to overwhelm you and draw you away from the focus.
What is it that you given to? Handle it with light hand. Are you rejoicing? Handle it with light hand so that you do not lose focus.

Acts 6:1
The number of the disciples at that time multiplied and there were issues concerning the distribution of food. The people murmured that the Widows were neglected.
What is it that you are into that is making you lose focus? The Apostles said, "we cannot give ourselves to serving tables". Let us not lose focus.
Our utmost need is closeness to God with total commitment and consecration to the Lord.

Matthew 24:15
This is not a time of looking back or compromise. It is not a time of trying to gather what you have lost concerning the things of this world. It is a time of consecration. We must continue to maintain holiness at all times.

John 8:29
If we want to maintain the closeness with God, we must ensure holiness and purity always.
We must be totally committed and we must not lose our consecration.
Our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Please make sure, come what may, that you retain the holy presence of God. We must draw closer and do all that pleases God.

A. TOTAL COMMITMENT AND REASONS

Everyone that is a child of God, whosoever that is aspiring to make heaven at the end of this life, must be committed to the Lord.
What this time requires is that everyone of us must be committed to the Lord.

2 Kings 2:1-15
The sons of prophet prophesied to Elisha, yet Elisha was not distracted and refused to be discouraged. Even his Master Elijah attempted to deter him, yet Elisha increased in his commitment to follow Elijah to the end. Notwithstanding that God was taking his Master away, Elisha did not bother concerning how he will return.
When Elijah eventually asked Elisha to make his demand, Elisha asked for the double portion of the Spirit of God. Elisha asked for what matters.
What are you asking of your Man of God? Are you asking for money, salary, land, the things of this life? Elisha was a man of understanding and asked for what was most important.
Whether it is convenient or inconvenient, we must follow the Lord to the end.
Have you taken time to commit yourself to follow Christ and to follow your Pastor till the end?
The people that mocked Elisha and attempted to discourage him on the way, bowed down before him.
You see you, all the people that are mocking you because of your commitment to Christ and the Man of God, by the time the annointing falls upon you, all of them shall bow.

John 4:30
Jesus Christ took the work of God as necessary food. He never allowed the suggestions of the disciples to distract him.
He did not allow hunger to distract him.
What is it that is taking your attention away from the Lord?
Remember Esau and the plate of food.
John 8:28
What makes the Father to remain with him is that he does what pleases God in season and out of season.
When you do it like that, the Lord will never depart from you.
The One that takes the responsibility of perfecting you is the Lord. Your duty is to make yourself available to the Lord.

Romans 8:31
If you be with the Lord, the Lord will make you strong and qualify you for heaven.
When we are committed to the Lord and his work, he will make you to bear more fruit.

John 15:4&5
What does the above scripture suggest? If you are consecrated and integrated to God, you will draw nourishment from God and will bear fruits.
If you are cut off from the body, that branch shall wither and you cannot bear fruits.
Let us remain truly committed to God and we shall make it to heaven at last in Jesus name.

B. OUR RESPONSE AND EFFECTS
As many that are truly Born-again and those that will do so today, those who are leaders, Workers, Pastors and members; they must not allow anything, even the things of this world to distract us. We must not allow anything to make us lose our commitment and consecration. Those distractions are vanity and will not follow us to heaven. They include money, wife, cars, pride of life, none of these things will follow us to heaven. The day you are going, you will go as an individual.

1 Corinthians 7:31
The glory of this world passes away, therefore do not allow that which is passing away to hinder you from the rapture.
Let us remember, what does this time require? It requires preparation, consecration and commitment, doing the will of God.
We must be careful with the things of this world, they do not help your faith.

Matthew 13:1-8 &18-22
If you follow the cares of this world and lose your relationship with God, you will end up in hellfire. Let us not follow vanity so that we do not become empty and vain.
Always pray, always evangelise. Make sure you be in fellowship with God always.

Hebrews 10:25
We must not neglect, we must not forsake. We must draw closer and closer in fellowship with God.

Matthew 24:15; John 8:29
That prophecy of Daniel is being fulfilled. We must not lose consecration. Let us do what pleases God.

2 Timothy 4:6
If we will go on in commitment and consecration and finish well and finish strong, we shall make the rapture of the Saints.
Let us make time and give the time what it requires in total commitment and consecration.
Everyone of you, if you are not saved, make haste and accept Jesus Christ and be saved. Do not forget, a Christian is not a Sinner and a Sinner is not a Christian.

1 John 3:8&9; Romans 3:23; 1 John 5: 17a; Isaiah 59:1;
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelief is sin. Unforgiveness, hatred, Selfishness is terrible sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, visiting Diviners or those consulting the dead? That is sin.
Stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, masturbation, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God. Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
Are you beating your wife or you are a wife tormenting your husband, that is sin.
Amend your ways. Are you involved into dressing to expose your nakedness, that is sin.
Whenever a woman is spoilt, they begin to make up (Jeremiah 4:30).
I have spoken this word not to condemn you, but that you may recognize that sin and confess it to obtain the mercy of God.
Proverbs 28:13, John 8:36;
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
As I conclude now, Christ is waiting for you.
2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:13

Let us pray.
