TOPIC: What does this time require (Part 1)
1 Corinthians 7:29; Luke 14: 23; Matthew 5: 14
At every point in time we should know what to do and what the time requires. We are in the very last days and the time is at hand.
Matthew 24 : 1
The disciples inquired to know the time of his coming. We also ought to be watchful in preparation. At this primary time, we need to know the signs of his coming. We further need to know what to do in these times.
2 Timothy 3: 1
If you look at the above scripture, you will see the features that characterise the last days. Every true child of God must be conscious of what he or she is doing before we are taken out of this world.
1 Corinthians 15: 21
It is very clear that shortly the trumpet shall sound and Believers shall put on the celestial body and meet with the Lord in the air. If you want to be among those that will be raptured, you must prepare.
A. THE PREPARATION & SOUL WINNING
No Believer should allow himself to be polluted and defiled. We should maintain purity and ensure there is no unrighteousness.
Amos 4: 12
There is need for preparation because we are waiting for our Messiah, the King of kings and the Lord of Lords, our Master Jesus Christ. There is none like him. He is holy, he is pure and meeting him requires holiness and righteousness.
1 Corinthians 15: 50-52
We must endeavour to be ready not allowing any spot or wrinkle as a matter of preparation.
Matthew 24: 44
We must be ready at all times. We must not allow anything to distract us.
1 Corinthians 5: 27
That is the Church that Christ is coming to rapture. A church without blemish.
Everyone of us must ensure there is nothing standing between us and God.
This should be our preparation.
Everyone hearing me today must act fast in preparation. We should engage in more practical approach in every aspect of our Christian life. We should do away with Christianity of theory. What we preach should be exhibited in our lifestyle.
God should see the Christian life in us. Men should also see the Christian lifestyle in is.
Let us not be those that hear the word and are not putting it into practice.
Let us maintain peace amongst ourselves and also with other men.
Matthew 5: 15
Whosoever is observing you should see your practical christian life and give praises to God.
As a matter of what we should be doing in preparation for the Lords Coming, we should compel others to return to the Lord.
We should not accept any excuses or reasons why people should remain in sin.We must compel them to accept the Lord.
We must take advantage of the grace and compel everyone to come before the trumpet sounds. There is no more time. The end of the world is at hand. We must make sure we preach always for the unsaved to be saved.
2 Timothy 4: 1 & 2
Let us preach, teach them, rebuke and correct. Let us go forward and preach in season and out of season.
Acts 8: 1
We should go everywhere preaching the gospel. We should not allow a situation where you want to be selective about the preaching of the gospel. We should preach by day and by night.
I want to let you know that what this time requires is to go everywhere preaching the gospel
Mark 16: 15
We should go and preach everywhere all over the world. Let us go on and preach and keep to the commandments.
B. THE REASONS AND DANGERS OF NEGLECT
Everyone should understand that there is no more time.
Romans 13: 11
The coming of Jesus is at hand. Everyone should know it and give ourselves to the work of the Lord. Let us ensure Jesus Christ only.
Matthew 24: 36-44
Take note and be ready at all times. When you least expect him, the Lord shall come. The careless soul who has no time to prepare will miss it forever.
Matthew 25: 10
Be watchful. Ensure that you keep to purity and holiness. Do not be like the foolish virgin who were not prepared. I pray that God will deliver you in Jesus Christ name.
The grace, talent, gifts you have received is to serve God now. When we drop our body, you can no longer use the gifts.
2 Corinthians 6: 2
The Lord can only hear you in the day of grace. This is the only time that your work will be accepted. It is not after death. Let us do it now.
Hebrews 10: 13
If you are saved and you do not use your talent as the Lord will have you do, if you drop your body you cannot use it again.
Let people see our Lord Jesus Christ in you. Let them see it in your character. In love, fear of God, in holiness.
Matthew 5: 16
We should go on and shine in righteousness and practical Christian life.
Luke 14: 23
As the Lord has called us into this Ministry, let us understand that there is something that is required of us. Let us go and give this time what it requires.
We must go out and do the will of God. We must be those who started the work and will finish it.
For those people who are not yet Born-again, they should repent and acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour.
Romans 3: 23
Except you are Born-again, you are not yet a Christian.
Romans 6: 23
Everyone of us who wants to make heaven, is bound to receive this gift through Jesus Christ. Righteousness without Christ is a house without Foundation.
1 John 3: 8 &9
If you are there right now and you are not yet saved, I want to let you know that a Christian is not a Sinner and a sinner is not a Christian.
1 John 5: 18
If you are truly Born-again, you receive grace for righteousness and the door of sin is closed. Satan cannot torment you.
1 Corinthians 6: 9
Maybe you are into lying, Insincerity, prostitution, immorality, fornication, adultery, unfaithfulness, backbiting, cursing people, making idol or having idol in your heart; or you belong to secret cult, open cult, repent and promise God that you will not continue in this wickedness.
Those that live this kind of life, they cannot enter heaven.
If you belong to these things as listed above, do not give us your money. Rather repent and surrender to Jesus Christ. Make Jesus Christ your Lord and personal Saviour.
Amend your ways, ask for the mercy of God.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Jeremiah 4: 30
Make up is a mark of those that are spoilt, those that are defiled.
Are you among those that expose your nakedness to seduce? A Seducerbis not a Christian.
Matthew 19:4-6
Are you among those that marry and divorce, that is sin. Marriage is between a man and woman.
If you are a man and you marry another man, that is wickedness and abomination in the sight of God.
Deuteronomy 22: 5
Be advised that abominable people can never enter heaven.
Revelations 21: 8; Proverbs 28: 13
If you involved into these things, confess them and ask the Lord for mercy.
Jesus Christ takes away our sins. If you surrender to him, he will take away your sins.
John 14: 6
If you want to reconcile with God, come to the Father through Jesus Christ.
Matthew 11: 28
If you come to the Father through Jesus Christ today, freedom from sin shall be your portion.
In Christ, we have transformation and receive grace for righteousness.
I compel you, please give your life to Jesus Christ.
As you call upon the Lord with sincerity, today salvation shall be yours. Amen
