TOPIC: ACTING UPON HIS WORD

Joshua 1: 7 & 8; Deuteronomy 28: 1-3; James 1: 22; James 2: 12;

Everyone should see every word of God as a potential treasure to be harvested in good time. None of Gods word shall be wasted.
The word of God is true and powerful.
The commandment of God is full of life and blessings. All the promises and word of God must come to pass.
John 6: 63; Matthew 24: 35
Take note that every promise of God must be fulfilled.
Psalm 119: 89
I want to let you know that the word of God cannot be distorted. If you must revoke it, then you must enter heaven to revoke it. The word of God is everlasting.
Isaiah 46: 10
Whatever God says, he will do it Whatever God has proposed, he will do it.
We should therefore take heed to the word of God.
1 Timothy 4: 7-15
Take heed to the word of God and you shall be a blessing to the people around you. We must know and claim the promises of the word of God.
2 Timothy 3: 16
This word of God is for correction and reprove. It is for instruction in righteousness. As a result, you will not make mistake.
We should read the word of God always to know the promises of God written concerning us and it will surely come to pass.
Isaiah 34: 16 & 17
Seek for the word of God and read. The Book of the Lord is the Bible.
All that the Lord has spoken none of it shall fail.
As the Lord has spoken it, his spirit shall bring it to pass.
The word of God is real from everlasting to everlasting.
Matthew 15: 30; Isaiah 53: 4
Jesus Christ acted as it was written concerning him. As he acted upon what was written concerning him, all the people were healed.
Isaiah 55: 11
Whatever God says concerning anything, concerning you, it must surely come to pass.

SOME POINTS TO CONSIDER:

A. THE REASONS, CERTAINTY OF HIS WORD AND EXAMPLES

Many Believers do not know the value of the word of God and as a result do not delight in reading the word or meditating therein and claiming the promises.
The word of God is infact our treasure. It is a promise God has made with us and it must surely come to pass.
Those people who do not know about this and yet claim to be children of God suffer for this lack of knowledge.
Hosea 4: 6
If you do not know the benefit of the word of God, you cannot claim and possess the treasures.
John 28: 32
If you do not know the truth of the word of God concerning you and others, you cannot prosper in that area. When you do not know the word of God, you cannot do much exploits. Something has been written concerning you. If you do not know about it, you cannot act upon it.
Daniel 11: 2
When you know it makes you to be strong and be a blessing to people.
2 Timothy 2: 15
Study to show yourself approved unto God. When you.know this word, you shall have boldness. Try to know the word and study it to know everything concerning you.
Every word of God is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine.
John 13: 15
You should know the teachings of Chriat concerning everything. When you depend upon the word, you shall be blessed and be a blessing to people.
We should know that the word of God is God. We should also know that the word of God is his will that is wriiten for me and for you.
Whenever a father is getting old, he writes a will and hands it over to his legal practitioner. Whenever that will is read even if that son is poor the entitlements in the will becomes his portion and he will become rich.
Everything written in the word of God, belongs to you.
Hebrews 10: 7-9
Jesus Christ came to the world to do the will of God and to achieve this he must know the word of God and what is written concerning him. Whatever God has spoken concerning me, you and heaven, it must surely come to pass.
Isaiah 46: 10 & 11
Whatever God has spoken, he will bring it to pass.
Psalm 89: 34 &;35
Every promise God has made to you, it must surely come to pass. God cannot lie and he cannot change.
You should know it, claim it and act upon it. When you act upon the word of God, you will discover the certainty and power of the word of God. You will see the wonders of God.
Hebrews 6: 18
His oath and his word are the two immutable things. Whatever oath God has taken, it must surely come to pass.
Titus 1: 2
Whatever God says is truth. God cannot lie.
As many that relied on the word of God in times past were never disappointed.
Genesis 17: 1
God told Abram at old age to change his name. Abram acted in accordance to God's word and changed his name to Abraham. It appeared foolish and yet it came to pass. Abraham became a father of many Nations.
Genesis 18: 10
Sarah had entered menopause. Sarah was considering her body and laughed. At the appointed time it happened. God is God. You must keep on acting upon the word.
Romans 4: 17 -21
Abraham was strong in faith. Abraham was praising God and thanking God. As Abraham acted upon the word of God, he received the promise and blessings.
As many of you that are children of Abraham, you are children of faith and God expects you to act by faith. Do not look at that condition or situation.
Let me advise you, if there is anything you need in life, look for it in the word of God, claim it and thank God for it. Continue to claim that promise. Read the Bible, know what is written concerning you, claim it and it shall come to pass.
If Moses had argued with God when the Lord instructed him to confront Pharaoh in Egypt, the Children of Israel would have died in Egypt.

B. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS

Everyone, particularly those that are Born-again should know that all that is written by our father is for me and for you.
2 Timiothy 3:16; Joshua 1: 7
We are those who believe before we see. Let me tell you after this preaching check your Bible. Whatever is the word of God for you, claim it.
2 Corinthians 6: 9
As Paul possessed all things, i possess all things and you as well possess all things.
Jesus Christ was made poor that you might be rich. Do not confess negatively. Negative confession is lack of knowledge.
Instead of confessing your limitations, say I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.
Luke 10: 19
Say what the word of God says concerning you.
You see you, nothing shall by any means hurt you. Even if they gave you food in the dream, when you wake up, thank God for the food and cancel the dream.
Are you a Believer, your name is written in heaven.
Always tell them, "my name is written in Heaven".
Luke 16: 31
All that belongs to my father in heaven belongs to me.
Remember that if you are not a Child of God, you cannot lay hold on the will because you are a stranger. So also if you are not my biological child you cannot lay claim to being my child. You can only claim to be my Spiritual child. If you are a stranger, I cannot put you in the will.
Remember if you be a child of God, your father is mindful of you. God is our father and we have become his sons and daughters. He has written a will concerning us. If you are not saved make haste to surrender to Jesus Christ today.
Confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and personal Saviour.
Romans 3:23; 1 John 3: 8 & 9; 1 John 5: 17a; Isaiah 59: 1;
Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelieve is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God. Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
I have spoken this word not to condemn you but rather to bring you to the truth of the gospel.
Jesus is that lamb that taketh away the sin of the world.
John 10: 10b; John 8: 36; John 1: 12
As many that shall receive Jesus today,, they shall be saved.
Romans 10: 13
Rise up and let us pray. Tell the Lord you have come and ask God for mercy.
