Thursday Service: It Is Time To Remember The Lord
THURSDAY SERVICE MESSAGE

TOPIC: IT IS TIME TO REMEMBER THE LORD
Many people and many nations have forsaken the Lord and have done what pleases them contrary to the will of God and as a result of the wickedness of the people, God has allowed afflictions, diseases and so many things that are happening in the lives of the people today because they have forsaken the
Lord and He allowed all the judgements upon the Land and all the pestilences we are seeing today and all the famines we can see today as well. 2nd Chronicles 7:13-15. So the Lord is demanding that we should turn to Him because God has allowed whatever we are seeing today happen.
Whatever is going on under the sun can never happen without the permission of God and if it does, that thing cannot stand. If anything goes ahead to be in isolation or go contrary to his will, it will not stand. God will bring it down. So, whatever is happening in the world now, God allowed it and He is waiting for us, He is waiting for humanity to turn back to him, to recognize Him, to repent and renounce all their wickedness and God will have mercy on them and answer them.
Everyone or whoever is involved must not continue to isolate the Lord. Hosea 13:9. Rather than many wallowing in destruction, everyone should repent and turn to the Lord and cry for mercy. We should all remember the Lord and recognize him as our Father and Maker. We should remember the Lord and cry for mercy and intervention. Malachi 1:6. God is protesting that if He be your Father, where is His fear? All ye that forsake God, ye that do what pleases you, where is the fear of God? And so if we should honour, fear and obey the Lord, He will give us salvation and protection. Let us make sure to fear God and regard him because God has made it clear that those that honour him, He will honour. 1st Samuel 2:30. If you give God honor and recognize him as your Father, He will as well honour you, He will heal you, He will bless you, He will give you your heart desires and He will fight your battles. Remember the Lord. No matter the situation in the lives of anyone and the nations, we should turn to the Lord for solution and He will free us and free us completely. Matthew 19:26.
Remember the Lord and turn to Him and even when the situation seems impossible, it shall be made possible. John 8:36.

POINT 1: THE REASONS AND EXAMPLES
God is our Father, God is our Maker, God is our Creator and He is the Creator of all things. Genesis 1:1, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 6:9. Jesus Christ accorded God the honour and He made his audience understand that He is our Father in heaven. We should honour God. Jesus has set us example of how we should honour God and how we should come to him, to ask and receive our needs.
We should not isolate God and then wish to prosper. It is impossible. Wishing to prosper without God is filled with limitations. God is unlimited but men are limited. We must remember God in our afflictions and problems because God has allowed it. God is not happy with us and many nations of the world, that is why He has allowed what is happening in the world today. God has all things, He is the all sufficient God. If you are not in him, no matter how rich you are, you are incomplete. 2nd Corinthians 3:5. He has the power to deliver us from all evil, from all sicknesses and diseases, from all enemies, He has the power to give us victory. Psalm 62:11.
He has all the power to do all things. Genesis 17:1. So we should understand that God is the Almighty and we should walk before him. We should know that He is God and that He is a spirit and that we should walk before him by faith. Colossians 1:16. No one has the answer to all things, only God. Every man even with their riches and power, they are limited. Matthew 19:26.
God is unlimited, He has the power to do all things. When we are in any trouble which no man can give us solution, He God will give us answer, He will give us solution. Even now, that the whole world has exhausted their power in trying to find solution for a disease, God has the power to stop the disease and to give us solution. God has the solution to everything, to all the battles you are going through. Some of you are going through hardships and battles, is it not time to remember God and to turn to him? He will give you solution. There is nothing too hard for God to do. Jeremiah 32:27. No matter the affliction, disease, the economic problem, God has the answer, He has solution. If you are seeing impossibilities or unshakable mountains in your life then it is because you have forsaken God and because you are far from God. It is because your sins have limited you because of the evil that you have allowed and so something must be done.
Remember him and you will see the power of God. Philippians 4:19. So, all that you are looking for in this world in isolation from God, you are wasting your time. God is equal to the task and He will meet your needs and everyone that walked with the Lord in spirit and in faith were honored and blessed. Genesis 24:1. God can do all things. Where doctors, lawyers, scientists have failed, He will start from there. Answers were given to them when they remembered God and asked for mercy. So, God has not forsaken you, don't harden your heart with pride but humble yourself. 2nd Chronicles 15:1, Psalm 50:15.
Remember Job, God turned his captivity into blessings when He remembered God and prayed unto God, God helped him and saved him from the fish. Jonah 2:7-10. God can speak to your situation and it will listen to God and vomit you out. God is able to do and undo. God is working for you to remember and turn unto him. When the people of old remembered God, He helped them and brought them out of their sorrows, He will do the same for you today.
POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS
No matter what you have done and how long you have turned your back to this great and mighty God, no matter how you have isolated or despised God, no matter how you have hardened your heart, I want to let you know that God is merciful, He will forgive you and heal you. He is the embodiment of love, He loves you, He can never forsake you forever as long as you come to him and remember him. Jeremiah 32:17-20. So, if you repent and ask for mercy, He will forgive you. He is the Mighty God, He is the Creator of all things, He is the only Good God. Matthew 19:16, John 3:16. No matter what you are going through whether it is the noisome pestilence of corona virus, turn to him today and he will heal you. Ezekiel 18:30-31, 2nd Chronicles 7:13-15. God has allowed these things so that you can return to him so that He will not only grant you healing but salvation as well. Psalm 91:1-16. Let's come back to him and dwell in his presence. Once we remember the Lord and come back to him, He will see us through and He will deliver us and bless us. Psalm 50:15, Matthew 7:7.
