SUNDAY MESSAGE: FAITH IS ESSENTIAL NOW.. BY PASTOR LAZARUS MUOKA

TOPIC: FAITH IS ESSENTIAL NOW
Everyone should know that we cannot do without faith. If we are born again, or children of the most high God, then we are the children of faith. Everything about us is by faith. We are the children of Abraham by faith. Galatians 3:26. If you are a child of God, you are a child of faith. If that be the case, we should live the rest of our lives by faith. We should not live our lives by sight or by feelings. We should not live our lives by thinking, let's live our lives by faith.
As long as we are the children of the Living God, everything about us is by faith. 2nd Corinthians 5:7. We walk by faith and not by thinking, not by feelings, not by what people say. We walk by faith and not by sight. A lot of things are happening around the world presently and if anyone claims to be a child of God and he is devoid of faith, he may not survive the present world, he may not survive all the evils or calamities and all the magnification of diseases and problems.
Faith is essential in this present time. As a child of God, you must have faith to enable you do exploit, overcome and be an instrument in the hands of God to help others. The news of Covid-19 pandemic, the news of death associated with the pandemic, the lockdown and all the evil going on in the world will not affect you. Mark 9:23, Hebrews 11:6. You need faith to please God, to attract God and to bring him into your situation.
POINT 1: THE REASONS AND OUR URGENT REQUIREMENT
Everyone should understand that the role of faith in a believer's life cannot be overemphasized. It is very essential. We must have faith. We cannot do without faith. As long as you are a believer, you need faith. It is something you cannot do without. The fishes cannot do without being in water, if they are withdrawn from water, they will die. In the same vein, a believer needs faith, without it, he will not survive. Faith is a necessity. It is very essential in our walk with God. We must have faith in God. We need faith in dealing with the present world. While the world is busy ignoring God and magnifying the devil and his works, we should have faith in God. It can happen to them but it will not happen to us because we believe. We are dealing with God, the embodiment of faith. We cannot see God but it is clear that God exists. We are dealing with God by faith and with the same faith, approach him to get whatever you need. He created all things, visible and invisible. Colossians 1:16, Romans 10:17.
We are not walking by what we hear. We are walking by faith in the word of God. Romans 8:31, Luke 10:19. Fear is the agent of the devil. Having fear is just like saying there is no God and that is why the devil uses fear to make people afraid and doubt God so that he can attack them. So, do not fear. The word of God is the final authority. Have faith. Mark 9:23, Mark 11:22-23, Mark 11:24.
The urgent requirement for everybody is Mark 11:22, Have faith in God. Faith in God, that is what everybody need now. With that faith, you will survive all the present day situations.
POINT 2: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS
With faith, we shall overcome this time, we shall overcome Covid-19 pandemic. With faith, we shall overcome fear, death, economic recession, lockdown and bandits. We shall overcome all challenges and trials by faith in God. By faith also, we shall help others. Take note, God is looking for who will stand in the gap to help others. If you don't have faith in God, you cannot pray for people, you cannot minister for their salvation. You need faith to do this. Let us pray for those in isolation centers with faith. We need faith to quench the worries and powers of this pandemic, to crush all the works of the devil. Mark 9:23, 1st Corinthians 5:7. We walk by faith and not by sight. Don't listen to negative news, only believe in the word of God. With God, all things are possible. Faith is what you need more than any other thing now. Matthew 11:22, Matthew 11:12. With this faith, you can as well make heaven at last. Remember, we walk by faith and not by sight. By faith, help others to overcome challenges. Luke 10:19, Matthew 18:18. Take note, we live by faith. Philipians 4:19. He can do all things, He is all powerful, He will meet all our needs. Have faith in God. Romans 8:31-32, Psalm 23:1-6. Don't forget, He led the Israelites through the wilderness because of their faith Hebrews 11:6. Have faith in God. Mark 9:23. Don't work by sight, read your bible and listen to the teachings of the words. Have faith in God.

Sin is dangerous. It is destructive and yet almost the whole world has gone into sin.
Unbelieve is sin. Selfishness is sin; Covetousness is sin, Insincerity is sin; backbiting, murmuring, speaking evil of others, these are terrible sin.
Going to native doctors, stealing from Government, stealing from companies and individuals, that is sin.
If you are among those people that are involved in fornication, adultery, homosexuality, lesbianism, abortion, that is terrible wickedness.
Fighting and quarreling, smoking and drunkenness all these are evil. Ask for the mercy of God. Are you into polygamous marriage or you have sent away your wife or you moved away from your husband, that is sin. Are you a woman dressing like a man or a man dressing like a woman, all that is sin.
The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
