Are you thinking of going back - Part Two

ARE YOU THINKING OF GOING BACK? PART TWO

"No man that warreth engangleth himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier" 2 Timothy 2:4 (KJV).

He that is in a race doesn't look back. Christian race is a continuous process and a crown awaits you at the end. So for this reason you should strive to end well no matter the rocky paths you go through. Do not allow it to deter you because it is a process all saints must go through before the coming of Christ.

Remember that the apostles of old were confronted with myriad of trials. Apostle Paul was one of them. But when he was confronted with trials, the Bible recorded he never staggered but kept his eyes fixed on the Lord and God Almighty delivered him and gave him victory (2 Timothy 3:10-12).

Have this current situation impoverished you to the extent you're thinking of going back? Relax and look up to your Maker, He will cross you over and give you victory in Jesus name!

You have been chosen by the most High God and He knows the situation you are into. He allowed this situation for mankind to seek Him afresh. So, if the world have decided to quarantine those infected by corona virus, you quarantine yourself for spiritual exercises, like fasting and prayers. If the world isolating themselves from those that are infected, brethren let us isolate from sin. Let's take advantage of this period and lockdown ourselves in prayers and meditation of God's word and allow the word to work in us that after this situation is over, we will begin to maintain social distance with iniquity in all round. As God provided for Israelites when they where in wilderness, God Almighty will also provide for you in Jesus name (Exodus 15:22-25).

Beloved brethren complaining in the midst of challenges will simply drain you and make your situation worse. No Wonder Apostle Paul says, "Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice" (Philippians 4:4). Beloved, rejoice and celebrate the Lord, and you will overcome the challenges and receive your blessings. Our Daddy G. O. have told us that this situation can not consume us. We are in Goshen! The only obligations we owe ourselves is to maintain holiness and righteousness and continue to ponder on God's word so at the end of this pandemic, songs of praise will fill our mouth like Israelites of old (Exodus 15:1).

ARE YOU THINKING OF GOING BACK? Because of hunger you're compromising with your faith! Know that life in the world and it's activities are temporal. The Bible says "that there is a way that seem right unto a man but the end is destruction (Proverbs 14:12).

Don't allow sin reduce you to eternal damnation. Always examine yourself to know if you're still standing. Be an overcomer.

Our daddy once preached a message that says ” Before death, there must be travail. It is okay and biblical to question God, but one thing that is not okay is to allow your questioning birth unbelief! As many who who were caught in such web in the Bible days, ended in shame and death.

Whatever it is that the world is going through, is only for a little time. In due time, God shall deliver us and we shall sing praises to him. Looking back is never an option; remember Lot's wife .

The wisdom of the world is foolishness to God. Do not be tempted to drop your Bible for fleeting fun; For weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Even when the cloud seem hazy, do not forget your maker. Eyes has not seen, neither has ears heard the plan God has for his children.

His plans are always to give us peace and an expected end.

Dealing with God requires patience. Only the patient are rewarded bountifully. So rebuke every evil thoughts that has beclouded your mind and reasoning and dragging you to sin against your maker . It is the plan of the thief(Satan), who only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Resist him and he will flee from you!

PRAYER POINTS:

1) Oh Lord help me to overcome this situation in Jesus name! Amen.
2) Daddy, don't allow me to go back to my vomit in Jesus name! Amen.
3) Oh God revive me with your word at this time in Jesus name! Amen.
