THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Luke 10:19, Ephesians 6:10

THEME: THE LORD HAS EQUIPPED YOU FOR BATTLES

MEMORISE:  Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. (Psalm 144:1)

MESSAGE: 

God is aware that we will pass through different life's battles and therefore strengthens us and teaches us how to confront these situations. 

He says, Behold, I give unto you power. (Luke 10:19) He equally says, Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10) Unfortunately, many professed believers are still looking for who will help them to fight the battles of life forgetting that it is only God that can strengthen them and teach them the art of warfare. They go up and down searching for places where their problems will be taken away, without understanding that they have a big role to play.

The Psalmist was a man, who understood very clearly the dynamics of spiritual matters and held an unwavering belief that God is the source of His strength and power and instead of worrying about prevailing situations opted to bless the name of the Lord. To Him, the Lord had done that which He needed to do by teaching his hands to war against the battles of life. With that mid-set, he was assured of nothing but victory. As a professed believer in Christ, that is the same mind-set you must have. God is not partial nor does He change. As long as you realize that He has equipped you to overcome battles of life, you will have the determination to do battle and come out victorious.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. By the power and authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I command the table to turn against all my adversaries, in Jesus' name.

2. Every battle raging in my life; whether in the air, land and sea, in the name of Jesus I obtain victory over you, in Jesus' name.

3. Every program and plan of the devil for my life throughout the remaining part of this year; be frustrated, in Jesus' name.

4. I decree that our G. O and Mummy in the Lord shall dominate the gates of their enemies, in Jesus' name.
