THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Daniel 1:2

THEME: SOUL WINNING IS GOD'S HEARTBEAT

MEMORISE: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark. 16:15)

MESSAGE: 
Ever since the fall of man in the beginning, God Almighty has continually sought to recover him because man was created in God's own image and after His likeness to explore the earth, subdue it and have dominion over all that God created. However, man lost this glory through sin at the Garden of Eden. The first man didn't repent of his evil but went ahead to raise children in his sinful nature, thereby making all born into this world to fall short of God's glory. 

And for this purpose, Christ was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil and restore man back to God's original glory through salvation. From the time of old, God raises up a prophet - a deliverer for every generation and their mission is to lead the people to God's way. Christ accomplished His mission to save through His death and resurrection. He also commissioned His disciples to go out there and bring souls into the kingdom. So, soul winning is heartbeat of God. Today, many souls are perishing. Every second of the day, multitudes are trooping into hell fire. The devil and his agents are working tirelessly to bring souls to hell.

As a child of God, what have you done to stem this ugly trend? Souls are crying; men are dying. Why won't you lead them to the cross? Bear it in mind that no person lives on earth forever. The scripture says there is joy in heaven over one soul that repents. 

God has placed us here at this time to be ambassadors of heaven; to show people the way to heaven. Are you constantly preaching the word of God to people in your office, compound, in the business place, on transit, etc. Do you go out for morning or evening cry? This is our primary purpose of being in the kingdom.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God my Father, I repent of being unfaithful to my primary
purpose of soul winning even in these last days, in Jesus' name.

2. By the resurrection power in the name of Jesus Christ, I receive the power to preach in season and out of season, in Jesus' name.

3. O God, release the seven spirits of God upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord to enable our G. O to continually preach
the word of God all over the world, in Jesus' name.
