THEME: USE YOUR SUBSTANCES TO SERVE GOD
MEMORISE: "Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. ' (Proverbs 3:9-10)
MESSAGE:
Many people are wondering why they have not been able to breakthrough in life in spite of all their efforts. The truth is that they are stingy when it comes to using their substances to serve God. They are not willing to serve God with their substances or hard earned money neither do they see the reason why they should do so. They do not see how ordinary 'giving' will later translate into vast wealth and riches in their lives. It is a spiritual thing.
Many make pledges and vows and do not bother to redeem them. Whatever a man sows; is what he shall also reap. Since they do not consider it expedient to honour heaven with their substances, heaven will also not consider it expedient to bless them. As a result, they are not blessed and do not experience breakthroughs or enter into their possessions. Giving by using your substances to honour God is a spiritual injunction which aims at breaking the yokes of poverty and lack and opening the doors of blessings in the lives of His people.

Therefore, to receive God's honour, or become a beneficiary of His divine blessings, you must be somebody who uses his/her substances to serve the Lord. The stingy cannot be blessed as God loves a cheerful giver. No one can give above God. Remember, He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever receives Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Therefore, if you want to experience breakthroughs in life and possess your possessions and to be blessed generally, you must make up your mind to always honour God with your substances.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. Father, from this day, I resolve to honour you with my substances, in Jesus' name.

2. Any agreement entered into by my ancestors with the poverty spirits of my father's house; be terminated, in Jesus' name.
3. I uproot any character of stinginess in my life, in Jesus' name.
4. Father, increase your grace upon our daddy and mummy in the Lord so that they can continue to serve you with every iota of strength they can muster, in Jesus' name.
