THE KINGDOM'S FABULOUS BLESSING (COMBINED SERVICE MESSAGE)
COMBINED SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE 26/02/17
TOPIC: THE KINGDOM'S FABULOUS BLESSING
TEXT: Ex. 3:6-8; Gen.1:26-30; Matt.6:33
Brethren, from the points already discussed on this theme in our Tuesday Revival Hour services, we will agree that our God is a fabulous God (wonderful, marvellous) with fabulous kingdom and blessing (Mal.1:14; Jer.32:18-19; Psalm 121:2; Matt.6:33). Due to His fabulous nature, He made man to have and dwell in fabulous blessing, and when man was displaced from the fabulous blessing of His presence into sin and Egypt, which is contrary to His will, God did not waste time to seek and bring man back into the fabulous blessing of His presence/kingdom (Gen.1:26-30; Gen.3:1-7, 23; Ex.3:7-8; Deut.6:10-11; Deut.11:11-12).
In the same way, as many who are away from this fabulous kingdom and are into sin, sorrow and suffering, the Lord is set to bring them back into the fabulous blessing of His kingdom in Jesus name.
For better understanding, we shall consider the following sub-headings:-
1. Gods Fabulous Kingdom - our Foremost Need and Reasons
2. Fabulous Blessings- The Inheritance Of Gods Children and Our Response
1. GODS FABULOUS KINGDOM - OUR FOREMOST NEED AND REASONS
As a result of the sin of Adam, mankind was separated from this fabulous kingdom of God and its blessing (Rom.3:23). When we are not in good relationship with God, we are equally far from His fabulous blessing, because they can be found in the kingdom of God and are possible only through God (Matt.6:33; Luke 15:31; Gen.1:26-30). God gave this blessing to Adam and Eve when they were with Him in righteousness, but their sin separated them from it (Gen.3:23-24). So, no matter what one may possess outside the kingdom or away from God, it is considered as nothing and is void of fabulous blessing (John 15:5; John 10:10b).
Whatever anyone acquires in sin or deception is false and will surely bring such person into judgment and eternal damnation (Matt.4:8-10; Mark 8:35-37). He or she will fall into the category of those described as thieves and robbers (John 10:1; John 15:5; John 14:6; John 10:10b; Matt.25:46). Therefore, the need above all needs is to reconcile with God through Jesus Christ or come into His fabulous kingdom through Jesus Christ (Matt.6:33; John 14:6; Matt.11:27-28; Phil.4:13, 19).
2. FABULOUS BLESSING - THE INHERITANCE OF GODS CHILDREN AND OUR RESPONSE
As we said before, our God is a fabulous God with fabulous kingdom and blessing and has promised and given fabulous blessing to those who were His children in time past (Gen.1:26-30; Gen.12:1-3; Gen.13:14-17; Gen.24:1; Ex.3:6-8; Joshua 1:1-5; Matt.11:27; Deut.28:1-13). Fabulous blessing belongs to God and His true children; also as many who will reconcile with God through Jesus Christ today shall be co-inheritors of these fabulous blessing (Psalm 24:1; Phil.4:19; 1Cor.3:21; Luke 15:31; John 15:16; Isa.54:15-17; Psalm 115:16; Luke 14:16-20).
So, all who are truly born again and all true children of God indeed are co-owners of the inheritance of God with Jesus Christ, but those who are not born again run the risk of losing everything to the children of God and will surely be charged as thieves and cast into hell at the end of this life if they fail to amend or repent (Psalm 2:1-4, 8; Mark 8:35-37; Rev.21:8; Ex.23:25-27).
Our response to this message should be to come into the kingdom and ask for the kingdom's fabulous blessings, ensure that we receive them today and endeavour to dwell in them.
But those who are not yet born again and backsliders should repent, confess their sins and come to Jesus Christ in order not to be charged as thieves and be cast into hell at the end (Rom.3:23;SUNDAY WORSHIP/STUDY
