THEME: WE ARE CALLED TO EVANGELIZE THE WORLD
TEXT 2ND TIMOTHY 4:5
5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
MEMORY VERSE: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. MARK 16:15
MESSAGE:
Evangelism is the heart beat of God because it is through it that the good works of God in creation and the salvation of mankind through our Lord Jesus Christ are made known to man. Information is power; it is through evangelism that the knowledge of God is spread to man. It is on this premise our Lord Jesus Christ called on all His disciples in the memory verse to go into the whole world and preach the gospel to all creatures.
We as the professors of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour are His disciples today.
We have been called and empowered to evangelize the world. Having been saved and discipled, we are to preach to other people for their salvation.
In the text above, Apostle Paul writing to Timothy told him to endure affliction to do the work of an evangelist in order to prove his ministry. By this admonition we are to defy all hurdles, all difficulties, all problems and preach the gospel. It is not only when it is convenient that we preach. We do not know when the trumpet for the rapture of the saints will take place. There is no need for delay.
Again nobody knows when death will knock at the door of anyone. Once a person breathes his last the gospel has no effect on his life any longer. Salvation of the souls of any one is when he or she is alive.
Preach to the people around you when they are alive because is then that the gospel will make them repent and their souls saved
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray that God will make you to understand the urgency needed in preaching the gospel.
Pray that God will touch as many people as you preached to accept the gospel and repent.
Pray for the strength to preach always
AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
