TOPIC: THE MONTH OF DELIVERANCE AND DOMINION - PART 4
MESSAGE:
In our last two weeks revival hour, we saw the causes of losing our dominion or blessing and the remedy, and we believe that everyone present that day has dealt with these causes and must have closed every channel through which the devil has been tormenting and oppressing our lives, hindering our blessing and causing us rising and falling. If we have truly done this, be rest assured that permanent blessing, deliverance and dominion shall continue to be our portion in Jesus' Name.
For better insight, we shall view this study under the following headings;
POINT 1: THE AREAS WE NEED DELIVERANCE AND DOMINION SURVEYED
In order to discover the areas we need deliverance and dominion, we shall consider some of the cases recorded in the Bible, where the children of Israel sought for deliverance and dominion and got it. Let us consider the following scriptures; (2nd Samuel 3:1; Exodus 3:7-10; Psalm 34:6; Psalm ; Psalm 4:1-2; Psalm 56:1-3; Psalm 59:1-2; Psalm 69:1-4; Mathew 4:23-24)
From the above scriptures, the areas in which the people of old needed deliverance were clearly shown, they needed deliverance and dominion over Egyptians, Pharaoh and persistent weakness, Elijah needed deliverance from the attack of Jezebel, the widow (wife of the prophet) was also in need of deliverance from the people she was owing. Jabez, David, Job and several others in the Bible had need of deliverance in one area or the order.
POINT 2: OUR APPLICATION AND BENEFITS
As a child of God, it may be that you are being oppressed, attacked and afflicted by the devil and evil personalities, or you are getting weaker spiritually, if that is your case, you need deliverance and dominion, your case may be that of settling debts always, lusting after women or men, losses or accidents over your possession or court cases or problem with the police, government, or those around you in the office , house, market place, family, village, e.t.c. You need deliverance and dominion like Psalmist (Psalm 56:1-3; Psalm 59:1-2, Psalm 69:1-4)
So as the Psalmist and others in the bible cried out unto the Lord and obtained their deliverance, we too shall do the same tonight and we shall obtain our deliverance in Jesus' Name.
For those who are not yet born again, they should confess their sins to the Lord and repent of them, they should surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, believe that He died for them and rose again for their justification and then, cry out for their deliverance and dominion (Mathew 6:33, Psalm 34:6, Luke 10:19, Romans 6:23, Proverb 28:13, Romans:10:13).
