THEME: THE HIDDEN TREASURES IN THE WORD
TEXT: Acts 20:32
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
MEMORY VERSE: For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:13
MESSAGE:
Mere words of adjectives cannot sufficiently express the power in the word of God. The earth in which we live and its fullness owe their existence to the word of God. There is no situation confronting humanity that is not evidently addressed by the word of God. It is therefore a hidden treasure that fully satisfies a man and answers all his questions and provides solutions to his challenges when he finds it. God Almighty called into existence the things that were hitherto non existence into being, so we can turn things around in our favour if we effectively apply the word of God. This explains why the Bible states that life and death are in the tongue (the word that proceeds out of our mouth)
Whatsoever we desire in life is hidden in the word of God - healing, deliverance, promotion, success in business and in academics, fruitfulness of any kind etc. We can alter the activities of the wicked ones by the word of God. We can as well change any situation by the same word of God.
The Bible is not an ordinary book, it contains the issues of life and as such we should faithfully harness its riches for our spiritual and physical well being.
The word of God can only be activated or ignited to produce results by faith and holy living. As a true child of God, identify a need and channel the word of God in your mouth towards that need and you will see results.
Look at that situation and declare "It is written" and God will be on hand to materialize it because His word is forever settled in heaven.
It sends shockwaves to the kingdom of darkness and sends demons and evil powers scampering for safety.
Unbelief and sin hinder the manifestation of the word of God in the lives of so many people. Little wonder the Bible says that double minded man is unstable and cannot receive anything from God.
PRAYER POINTS:
* Pray and ask God to strengthen your faith in His word.
* Pray against the spirit of unbelief.
AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
