ARE YOU THINKING OF GOING BACK?
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;” Philippians 1:3–5 (KJV)
The Christian walk is a forward-looking one. There is no place for backsliders in the Kingdom of God. Even if you do backslide, opportunity is always given to you to come back into the faith.
Apostle Paul was filled with joy for the resilience of the Philippian church; they made up their mind to remain in Christ in spite of the challenges they were going through. He continually prayed for them so that their resilient faith would be rewarded.
Our Daddy G.O. have prayed ceaselessly concerning this unhealthy situation. He has passed a decree and said this pandemic can not consume the Chosen ones. Chosen is Goshen. He urged us to remain in Goshen no matter the turbulence and how the wind of this corona virus is crashing the economy of the world, Chosen ones will not cry or beg for bread. Don't think of going back because of this temporal trial!
Beloved, your resilient faith will be rewarded if you don’t go back into the world or turn to another faith (Hebrews 11:6). If you have left the Christian faith to indulge in worldly activities because of this unpleasant situation, please come back to the Christian faith to save your soul from damnation in hell. Change your thoughts of joining another faith because you are closer to your breakthrough than you think. May you receive grace to remain in Christ Jesus. Do not sell your soul to the devil because the night is far spent. Jesus Christ is coming very soon. All this are pre trial of our faith in Christ. God is aware of all this Pandemic.
Beloved, the signs of the coming of Christ has never been more visible.
If there's anything you have to joke with, let it not be the rapture. Remember the case of Lazarus and the rich man. Remember the story of the wise and foolish virgins. Lots of people backslided and died in their backslidden state; let that not be your case .
Have brethren offended you in church?
Did your pastor get you upset?
Were you wrongfully treated in that department and you had to leave the church and go back to the world? Beloved, you have to come back. Do not say“ bye" to God because of hardship or offense from brethren. Nothing is worth missing heaven for, believe that! Do not give Satan the chance to capture you and rejoice over your fall. There is still time to make amends, and that time is now.
Remember what the Bible says in Revelation 2:5, "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."
If God Almighty stood and fought for Israelites of old and gave them victory over their enemies countless times and crossed them over to their promised land, God of Chosen shall deliver you and cross you and families over unharmed in Jesus name! (Exodus 14:13-14). Don't think of going back, you have overcome already.
Prayer Point:
1) Dear Lord Jesus, I make up my mind today to remain in you. Please help me not to leave you in Jesus name! Amen.
2) Oh God, help me and my family to overcome this situation in Jesus name! Amen.
3) Father, provide for your Children at this period, don't allow your Children to cry in Jesus name! Amen.
