YOUTH 2019 INT'L PROGRAMME DAY 1 FIRST MESSAGE

TEXT: Isaiah 45:13 Matthew 7:13-24, Acts 14:22
TOPIC: THE ROAD TO HEAVEN
For you to start a journey, you must know the road that leads to your destination. If you fail to know the road to your destination, you will end up going up and down. In our contemporary society, you will find out that many youths are following the wrong path. Matthew 7:13, Proverbs 14:1. Here the bible is telling us the consequence of the broad way, which leads to death. God's ways are not the ways of man. He has made a way to heaven which cannot contain any kind of lifestyle. Matthew 10:22, John 14:6. From these scriptures we can see that only Jesus is the way, that is the narrow way.
Anyone that will be in heaven must follow the way of God
POINTS TO CONSIDER
POINT 1: THE ROAD TO HEAVEN EXPLAINED AND REASONS
Brethren, we must know that the way to heaven is not the road to your school or office, it is a way to the kingdom of God and a carefree youth cannot enter there. Because it is a holy place, it requires a holy life because it is for prepared people; those who are qualify for it. Making heaven is the upmost goal, every youth desire to make heaven but not all will make it, because it is a place for the saint. Isaiah 35:8-10. That way is made for the Chosen ones; as a result no sinner will be there.
All unrighteous people will not make heaven except they repent and turn to God. Genesis 5:1, John 12:25,Isaiah 35:8, we all must ensure that we follow this road.
POINT 2: OUR RESPONSE AND BENEFIT
Haven seen the road to heaven that it is a road of purity, and holiness, It is for those who have their name in the book of life. So, all we have to do is to amend our ways and give our lives to Jesus Christ. The gift of salvation is greater than anything in this life, it is a personal decision. God is still in the business of soul winning, we must relent from external affairs with friends and we must not be distracted. 2 Corinthians 6:2, the Lord is demanding for our salvation now, let us all strive to enter, even in this programme God is waiting for you to repent. Isaiah 1:18. The Lord is asking us to repent now, because there is no more time. Matthew 11:28, so there is an invitation from the Master that we all should come, for those who have been save from their sins, they must maintain Purity and righteousness. We must not allow the flashy things of this world to move us, let us determine to make heaven.
