Topic: Godly Counsel And Warning For The Present Hour
A lot of things are going on in this evil end time which are not far from the prophesies of end time. Matt 24:7. A lot of these prophesies are happening in our very eyes everywhere, 2nd Timothy 3:1-5. Take note, these are prophesies concerning the end time. 2nd Timothy 3:13-14.
We have been made to know that these things must come to pass as we see these signs. We should all consecrate ourselves to the Lord day and night. We should also not be discouraged. One thing is certain, God is mindful of his people but, once you begin to murmur, you'll begin to backslide and be completely destroyed.
No matter the situation all over the world, there is nothing to worry about. Genesis 19:17 We must move forward in our commitment and consecration in the things of God.
POINTS TO CONSIDER
1. THE REASON AND COUNSEL
Many things are happening all over the world and in our nation, these are signs of the end time. Evil vices are on the increase everyday. These are prophesies of the end time. Every child of God needs to be alert and know that there is no more time. So, we should do something and ensure that we are living right.
Many churches are getting weaker while others are falling away. The coming ofJesus is drawing close, there are terrible weakness and wickedness in the church. 2nd Timothy 3:1-5, 1st Timothy 4:1, Matthew 24:1-11.
Evil is on the increase, corruption, stealing, bribery, armed robbery, prostitution e.t.c. 2nd Thess 2:1. As believers, we should stand in the gap for every unbeliever and believer as well in this end time.
There is a war in this end time, war against wickedness is on the increase, the devil is doing this with his agents, they are fighting believers to make sure they still go to hell at the end. But it is our duty to stand in the gap for everyone to give their life to Christ and make heaven at last.
If any church is standing on righteousness, the devil and his cohorts try to bring the righteous church and her members down. When they stood against us in 2013, I told you to be calm because counterfeit cannot stand the test of time. God vindicated us and made a name for himself. Jeremiah 1:4-10. God has raised us to stand in the gap for everyone. John 25:16, Jeremiah 51:20-23, Jeremiah 1:4-10. God has given us the mandate to destroy the plans of the enemy all over the world and also to build the church of God.
We must not join the tired and weak believers rather, we should be awake and save the lost and the weak and be ambassadors for Christ. Luke 19:10, Mark 15:16. This end time battle cannot be fought with gun but with the word of God. If we preach, what gun cannot do, preaching will do it. Romans 13:11-14
As many of us that is still sleeping or slumbering, it is time to be awake because the coming of Jesus is fast approaching
While the battle is getting too hot, the Lord is encouraging us to be on the offensive and not to be defensive.
The level of evil of 10 years ago can't be compared to the evil of 2019, evil is on the increase.
As a Chosen, we have the weapon to save the unbelievers and believers too. 2nd chronicles 15:7, let us not allow any form of weakness or tiredness. We must not relent in the task ahead of us. We shouldn't relent in preaching. It is a weapon of war against sin, the enemies of righteousness and other vices. God has given us the weapon of preaching and we must fight. Joshua 10:19. The weapon given to you is to pursue and capture your enemies. Nigeria will be good again.
2. OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE, WARNING & DANGER OF NEGLECT.
We all should understand that there is no more time, the coming of Jesus is at hand. 1st Corinth 7:29, 1st Thess 5:1, 2nd Thessalonians 2:5-7. Both believers and unbelievers are depending on us to help them as God almighty had equipped us. It is time to blow the trumpet, it is time to wake up to our responsibility. Isaiah 52:1.
We are the hope of this particular generation. God has equipped us to go and preach the truth. Joel 2:1, Joshua 6:16. God has given us the nations of the earth, God has given us a weapon, therefore shout so that we will capture the nation of the earth. Joel 3:14. Preach in season and out of season. Mark 15:16.
As we preach this gospel, everyone of us shall be blessed. John 15:16, Acts 6:4, 2nd Corinth 10:3,Ephesians 6:10.
We should put on the spiritual armour then go on to pray and preach. Matthew 4:17-25. Those before us did it and were rewarded. As we go to serve God, he will reward us 100%. Matthew 8:28-30, 2nd Timothy 4:6.
