THEME: GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

MEMORISE: “Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6)

MESSAGE:

The first thing a new comer sees when they first come to The Lord’s Chosen is a sign over the pulpit that boldly proclaims that 'The God of Chosen Answers Prayers'. Many Christians today do not believe this assertion to be true.

They have prayed over a particular issue for years and have not received an answer. They have lost faith and believe that the Bible is just a fairy tale. They don't believe in miracles even when they hear of such. They believe that most are staged or at best a product of 'juju', black magic or demonic influences. This is ironic because this means they believe in demons but not the power of God!

Unfortunately, the state of many churches today where most are just glorified business centres offering motivational pep talks or occultist centres makes it difficult to blame them.

However, in The Lord's Chosen where the undiluted word of God is preached daily and holiness and righteousness the watch word, every word in the Bible is held as truth and obeyed.

This in turn has made God to honour His word that whatever we ask for in Jesus name shall be granted. We can boldly say that the God of Chosen answers prayers. Indeed, the caption on our logo that's says, “Power as of old' is a reality in The Lord’s Chosen. Countless of barren women who have been barren for years and have given up hope are now mothers of children.

The terminally ill who were written off by medical science are now healthy and living well. The poor have had their story changed and are now millionaires and billionaires. Those that were once in captivity or danger are delivered daily when they cry out to the God of Chosen. We have undeniable proof that God answers prayers which results in joy unspeakable.

However, to experience all the above, you must commit to righteous living. You need to live a life of purity inside and outside. You must give God your undivided attention and service and obey Him. It is only then that you can approach His throne with assurance of receiving your heart's desire.

You must also have unwavering faith that what He promised to do, He can do. If you do these things, you too will surely have reason to declare, The God of Chosen Answers Prayers!

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayerpoints:

1. Dear Father, thank you for answered prayers in Jesus name

2. I bind and cast into the bottomless pit every sprit of doubt, unrighteousness, and disobedience that will make God close His ears to my prayers, supplications and petitions, in Jesus name.

3. Dear Lord, let your unction upon my G.O and Mummy in the Lord increase daily in Jesus Name
