THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: Revelation 12:11

THEME: THE BLOOD OF JESUS SHALL BE YOUR MARK OF IDENTITY

MEMORISE: And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Exodus 12:13)

MESSAGE: 

Unarguably, there is power in the blood. Blood is the life of anything that is living. If all the blood in the body of any person is drained, such person is left with no life. That is the extent of the power in the human blood. But the bible talks about the blood of the Lamb of God, which was an offsetting factor for sin. 

It has no blemish nor wrinkles. It is a holy blood. And that is the blood that was to be a token upon the houses where the children of Israel living in Egypt resided. The mark of the blood of the Lamb of God was designed to be an identity upon them so that when the executioner angel on assignment beheld the mark of the blood, he would pass over them and no casualty would be recorded in such home.

This was the situation as the angel of God on assignment passed through the land of Egypt that night and there was a great slaughter and a great cry in the whole land of Egypt. But among the children of Israel, there was no death. Why? The reason is because the mark of the blood was upon them. Our nation might be passing through a period of 'plagues.' These plagues have been destroying many people especially those that do not have the mark of the blood upon them. For the mark of the blood of the Lamb to be your identity, you must reconcile with God by genuine salvation, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and living your life according to the will of God.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. O God, my Father, I repent of all my sins and accept you as my Lord and personal Saviour, in Jesus' name.

2. By the reason of my salvation and acceptance of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour, I ask that the blood of Jesus Christ become a mark of identity upon my life, in Jesus' name.

3. Any power, shrine or altar speaking against our G. O, Mummy in the Lord; vision and mandate, with the blood of the Lamb, we silence you, in Jesus' name.
