THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: 2 Samuel 22:14-25, 2 Kings 9:24

THEME: THE ARROW MUST GO BACK TO THE SENDER

MEMORIZE: "3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: 4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not. 5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?" (Psalm 64:3-5)

MESSAGE: 

An arrow is a deadly weapon of warfare. The effects of arrows are usually very devastating. The enemy derives pleasure in shooting down the people of God by their arrows. Many people have died days, weeks and few months before their testimonies because of the spiritual arrows fired into their lives. As far as the enemy is concerned, there can be no better time to fire arrows than during the time of overwhelming blessings of God coming down like rain showers. No doubt, the enemy has bent their arrows in order to shoot their unsuspecting victims. Apart from arrows that usher in sickness, poverty, backwardness, etc, there are also arrows that are released through bitter words and snares.

For many people, their response when it comes to defending themselves against the arrows of the wicked ones is always, "Not my portion " and it ends there. They do nothing else to frustrate the effects of the arrows of the enemies. 

Today, you must adopt a more practical approach as your rise up to put on the whole armour of God. (Ephesians 6:18) therefore, whatever be the arrow the devil has designed against you today must go back to the sender because the LORD will thunder from heaven and utter His voice and will scatter the arrows and return them back to the sender.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Every arrow of the enemy fired into my life, business, career, marriage go back to the sender, in Jesus' name.

2. Any secret plan of the devil to bring me down; be frustrated, in Jesus' name.

3. I decree and declare that I will never be a victim of the devil's arrows and stray bullets, in Jesus' name.

4. Any evil projection against our G. O, Mummy in the Lord and their children, backfire, in Jesus' name.
