THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL…

TEXT: John 15:1-7
THEME: IT IS NOT BY STRUGGLE
MEMORIZE: "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. " (Zechariah4:6)
MESSAGE:
Many people think that life is by struggle and as such they tend to struggle and labour each day of their lives in order to live up to expectation of people. In most cases, they achieve little or nothing, Our Daddy in the Lord by the word of God, has repeatedly drummed it into the ears of the chosen people that life is not by struggle. If life is by struggle, imagine where all the truck pushers will be today. Life is a gift of God and all that accompanies it is from above and if God does not give them to you, there is no way you can have them. When anyone isolates his/herself from God, he/she inadvertently isolates the blessings of God, thereby making struggling inevitable.
God is not a man that can lie and renege on his promises. He has the power and resources to bring to accomplishment everything He has promised. Therefore, as believers in Christ. we must key into His promises by faith. Abide in Him and His word in you, for in so doing, you will bear fruits of righteousness that will qualify you for His blessings in all aspects of life. Then, whatsoever you lay your hands upon, that is according to His will shall surely prosper. Struggle will give way to favour in your life. Where others go and fail, you will go and succeed. Make up your mind to walk with God everyday of your life and watch the struggles of life cease in your life.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. By the power that created the heaven and earth, I receive the grace to make it in life, in Jesus’name.
2. I command the life of struggling and labouring in vain to end in my life, in Jesus' name.
3. Any agreement/covenant entered into by my ancestors or wicked men and women to turn my destiny upside down; receive termination, in Jesus’name.
4. O Lord God my Father, by the power of the spoken word, release extraordinary grace and anointing upon our G. O and Mummy in the Lord so that they will continue to abide in you, in Jesus’ name.
