JUBILATION FOR THE NEEDY SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE FROM LAGOS, NIGERIA.
TOPIC: JUBILATION FOR THE NEEDY
Text: Genesis 21:1 - 7, Psalm 40:1- 3, 126:1 - 3
Our God who saved and caused the people of old to celebrate will cause you to celebrate in today’s service. He knows you and has brought you here to roll away your sorrow and restore all that you have lost over the years (Joel 2:25 - 27), it shall be from sorrow to jubilation.
For more insight and benefits, we shall consider the following subheadings;
1. Example of those whom the Lord made to jubilate and reasons
2. Our response and benefits
1. EXAMPLE OF THOSE WHOM THE LORD MADE TO JUBILATE AND REASONS
In the bible days, God made many people to jubilate from their sorrows, for example, God made Abraham to jubilate after many years of childlessness, He gave them Isaac. He made the Israelite to jubilate after many years of slavery in Egypt. I don’t know who is opposing you, Pharaoh was opposing the freedom of Israelite but he couldn’t succeed (Exodus 3:7 - 10); no one will be able to oppose what God have decided to do in your life today. Today, God is going to do a complete transformation in your life in Jesus' name. That enemy terrorizing your family, if they fail to repent today there shall be trouble.
When God saw the problem of the Israelites , He came down and delivered them. (Exodus 12:40 - 41, 51, Exodus 15:1 - 3). Daniel was cast into lion den and lion could not be able to eat him. Esther went to the King when it’s not the time and God delivered the people of Shushan and caused them to celebrate. In the new testament, all the problems that was brought to Jesus couldn’t survive it (Mathew 11:4 - 5, 12:15, 15:30). God cannot watch His people to be destroyed (John 10:10), the Lord has come to put laughter in your mouth (Romans 8:31). You have to be patient with God ( Psalm 40:1 - 3)
2. OUR RESPONSE AND BENEFITS
We should realize that God loves us and will not allow the wicked to suffer us (John 3:16), His love has allowed Him to provide remedy for the whole world (1 John 3: 9). Today, everybody must be free and totally free to join those that are jubilating. Our response therefore, is to ask God to take away everything that causes sorrow in our lives (Nehemiah 8:10). Anything hindering joy in our lives shall be taken away in Jesus' name. (Psalm 137:1 - 4). My God will bring you out from any strange land you've found yourself in Jesus' name. (Matthew 21:8 -14, 7: 7 - 8) will you ask? (John 14:13, 16:24, Luke 1:46 - 47, 68)
In conclusion if you are sinner or backsliders, you need to search your life, repent, amend your ways and give your life to Christ.
May God help us all to make Heaven at last in Jesus' name.
