THEME: ENDEAVOUR TO HAVE THE FEAR OF GOD
MEMORISE: “By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.” (Proverbs 16:6)
MESSAGE:
One of the most crucial things needed for humans to enter into God’s blessings is the fear of God. The fear of God makes people to obey His commandments and serve Him with all their hearts. The fear of God is the reason why people do that which is just. By the fear of God, they see God as having the power to judge their actions. This state of mind prevents them from doing evil. Unfortunately today, many have lost the fear of God and instead are possessed by the fear of the devil and mere men. They are no longer afraid that God will judge their actions, but they are afraid of the power of darkness and the bondage the devil can bring upon their lives. However, no matter the power of the devil that has blindfolded you from having the fear of God, the mercy of God is available today to purge your heart from any iniquity. This month is specifically slated for the mercy of God to return upon His Chosen ones. You must ask God to restore His fear upon your life by His mercy and truth. Without God, you cannot be able to achieve this goal.
Are you living your life anyhow and without the fear of God? The truth is that it will cost you many things including the blessings of God which you desperately seek for. You must make a change today and begin to live according to the commandments of the Almighty God. It is only by the mercy and truth of God that any iniquity hanging upon your neck can be purged. You can invoke God’s mercy by praying with a broken spirit and a contrite heart.
Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. Any power making me not to have the fear of God in my life; I loosen your grip over my life. Be gone, in Jesus' name.
2. O God my Father, I pray, give me a broken spirit and a contrite heart, in Jesus' name.
3. O God, by your mercy and truth, let all my iniquity be purged, in Jesus' name.
4. Let the fear of God cause me to depart from iniquity, in Jesus' name.
5. O thou God of Chosen, uphold our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children in righteousness, in Jesus' name.
