TOPIC: OUR GOD IS IN TOTAL CONTROL

TEXT: Genesis 1:1; Psalms 24:1; Revelation 4:11

No matter the adverse situation around, we must remember that God has not lost the grip of the earth. He is the creator of heaven and earth. He is still in charge. Isaiah 43:10; Isaiah 46:5; Isaiah 45:23; Isaiah 46:9-10. 

Whatever God has purposed, He will do it. No man, woman, evil being, agent of the devil or power can challenge Him. I want to let you know that your problem cannot last today. Every problem He has not permitted in your life shall not survive today. The bible says all power belongs to God, our God is in total control. Human beings can't manipulate God and have their way, but the bible says " I will work and who shall let it?" Isaiah 42:8; Romans 8:28; Romans 9:28 God is an unstoppable God, even the force of nature can't stop God. Even the Red Sea couldn't stop God, Herod could not stop God even though he ended up killing thousands of children.

POINTS TO CONSIDER FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING

POINT ONE: THE REASONS AND EXAMPLES

We should know that our Father is the creator of all things in Heaven and Earth from the very beginning. Genesis 1:1, 26-28, Psalms 24:1; Psalms 121: 1; Psalms 115:16. Without the power of God, whatever that is in existence today would never have existed. Colossians 1:16-17; Isaiah 45:23. Our God is in total control. Daniel 4:34. Satan has no power, stop ascribing power to the devil, he has no power, I want to let you know that God is in total control. Job was a rich man that was highly blessed by God, but Satan envied him. Job 1:1-3, 9-12; Judges 6:1 Daniel 4:24-26. The Angels of God will trace the route of your problems and send it back to sender. So, no matter what happens we should not be quick in ascribing things to the devil and giving him the power he does not have. Job 1:22. The devil knows that he does not have power and that is why he went to God first to collect power to deal with job, but after everything Job still worshipped God for he knew that God is in total control. In all things, Job did not recognize the devil but God. He waited patiently till his change came. Job 14:14; judges 6:1-6

You see you, the Lord will intervene. 2 Chronicles 15:1; 2 Kings 6: 26-33;Psalms 50:15; 2 Chronicles 7:13-15. If you can repent and call upon Him He will hear your prayer. Daniel 4:26. My friend there is hope for you. We should know that God is in control and we should trust in Him at all times. Psalms 62:7-8; 71:1; 144:2.

POINT TWO: OUR EXPECTED RESPONSE AND BENEFITS

Whatever that is going on in our country/nation/all over the world today, our God is in total control. Instead of talking against or blaming people for the current situation of our country, channel your focus to God, He has the power to do great things. If the church prays concerning this situation, God will have mercy. We should stop ascribing power to human beings, they do not have the power. The One who has the power and is also in control is God. Cry to God for mercy. It is because of the sin of the land and the sin of the people we are suffering the effect. John 15:5; psalms6 62:11; 2 Chronicles 7:13; Isaiah 45:22

God has allowed problems to make human beings know him and come to him for solution. Luke 19:10, Matthew 11:28; Psalms 50:15; 24:1; Philippians 4:10. 

Let us make sure we reconcile with God through Jesus Christ (Psalm 62: 11, 2 Chronicle 7:13-14), you need to examine yourself to find out where you have done wickedly and repent.

GOD WILL MAKE CHOSEN PEOPLE A BLESSING.
