THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

THEME: YOUR OPPRESSORS SHALL RECEIVE DOUBLE OPPRESSION

MESSAGE: 

“And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.” (Isaiah 44:26)

To oppress someone is to subjugate that person; never allow him to rise at all. Politically, a people can be oppressed through the legislation of harsh laws which will hinder their growth socially, economically and otherwise. In the same way, many people can be oppressed through judgments, condemnations, attacks and other forms of manipulations, which aim at truncating that person’s destiny. Such oppression can manifest in the form of spirit husband/wife attacks, ancestral demons and idols, witchcraft attacks and so on. Sometimes, these attacks can be so overwhelming that they can suffocate the victims into submission. This was the level of spiritual wickedness meted out against the children of Israel as they were oppressed by King Pharaoh in Egypt and they groaned over the heavy yoke and oppression until they cried out. God heard their cry and helped them and delivered them from their bondage in the hands of their oppressors. The truth is that God never takes it lightly when His people are oppressed for whatever reasons. So, He has promised to oppress those that oppress us and feed them with their own flesh and force them to drink their own blood. The idea is that since they love oppression and feel justified in their actions, they will have a dose of it and see how ‘good’ it tastes.

No matter the individual or kingdom oppressing you, God is set to visit them with oppression. You must support heaven in this noble objective by crying out through prayer and He will deliver you and set you free.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Every oppression of the devil going on against my life/destiny, family, business, career, academics and marriage; be halted by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus' name.

2. Whatever may be the reason for the devil’s oppression over my life; with the blood of Jesus Christ I obtain freedom, in Jesus’ name.

3. I receive fresh grace and power to soar above every oppression of the devil against my life and destiny, in Jesus name.

4. Any power assigned to oppress my G. O, our mummy in the Lord and the three-fold vision and ten billion mandate of The Lord’s Chosen ministry; receive double frustration, in Jesus name.
