THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: Psalm 89

THEME: IT’S ALL PRAISE, PRAISE, and PRAISE!

MESSAGE: 

“1 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul. 4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O Lord, when they hear the words of thy mouth.” (Psalm 138:1-4)

What an extraordinary year in which everything happened – the good, bad and ugly. For those that believe in God through Jesus Christ, there is reason to smile and be happy. Those that do not know Him and who only define success by exotic cars, houses and loads of cash will complain and not see enough reason to praise God though He preserved them till this day. As believers, we should be happy. Our confidence is that God has promised to give us everything including the kingdom. Therefore, no matter what happens, He will give us hundreds and thousands – houses, children, cars, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters etc and still give us heaven at last.

Today being the last day of the year 2016 is something to cheer about. You should be particularly happy for what the God of Chosen has done in the lives of the Chosen ones – even in your own life. Naturally, it becomes a wise decision to give Him praise and worship and adore Him. He is indeed a great God. He is a faithful God and never allowed any evil to befall his children.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. O thou God of Chosen, I give you all the glory for your hand of power upon The Lord’s Chosen; upon our G. O and his family; upon all the workers and leaders, in Jesus' name.

2. In unity of faith with my brethren, I thank you for all the testimonies and miracles of healing, salvation, deliverance, sanctification, Holy Ghost baptism and all the signs and wonders, in Jesus' name.

3. Thank you for fighting for the church, our Go, his wife and children, in Jesus name.
Thank you for your manifold blessings upon my life and family all through the year.
As we enter into a new year, o Lord, watch over us; let your hand of power remain upon us; let your watchful eyes be upon us, in Jesus' name.

4. Let your blessing come upon us in the coming year, in Jesus name.
