THEME: BEWARE OF EVIL CIVILIZATION

MESSAGE: 

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”(2 Corinthians 4:4)

Civilization is a shift from the traditional mode of doing things whereby the world evolved from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age and then the modern age which ushered in the scientific and technological age. Within the context of civilization, many obsolete ideas gave way to newer and better ideas. All these reduced physical labour. Almost everything has gone digital. There appears to be a shift from analogue to digital. Today, there are vehicles, trains, airplanes, bicycles, calculators and computing machines, money economy etc as against earlier modes.

This latest social change experience is producing some may be unintended functions – the evil side of civilization as it seems to have trapped the minds of the people of this age. The gods of this age have become money, science and technology. Supposed gospel preachers have been carried away by the prevalent wind. The implication is that many souls are no longer able to see the light of the gospel of glory of our Lord Jesus Christ who is the head of all righteousness and the express image of God. This is a terrible situation. Semi-nude women even prophesy with lipsticks, armless blouses, mini-gowns and skirts and other forms of seductive wears all in the name of ‘new generation church’. Today, abortion, homosexuality, lesbianism, same sex marriage, adultery, fornication, pornography and masturbation have received endorsements from world governments. That is evil civilization. Therefore, beware!

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Any scale (s) covering my spiritual eyes, I command you to fall off and catch fire, in Jesus’ name.

2. I come against distractions and negative influences caused by evil civilization in my life, in Jesus’ name.

3. Any evil spirit mammon spirit directed against The Lord’s Chosen to cause pollution/contamination; be destroyed by the anointing, in Jesus’ name.

4. Any power whose task is to pollute/contaminate our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children; fail woefully in that assignment, in Jesus' name.
