THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: Nehemiah 4:8

THEME : YOU ARE TOO STRONG TO BE INTIMIDATED

MESSAGE: 
“4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.” (Daniel 6:4-5)

It is only the eyes of childhood that fears a painted devil. Daniel’s detractors sought for reasons why they would nail him, but they knew that they wouldn’t find any fault against him except they set trap for him concerning the worship of his God. Daniel was a young man dedicated to the service and worship of the true God. When they had succeeded in enacting the obnoxious decree thinking that Daniel would be cowed by their actions, Daniel served his God with more diligence. A formal report was made against him and a kangaroo court was set up which found him ‘guilty.’ He was thrown into a lions’ den. Naturally, the risk of being thrown in a lion’s den is very clear: Instant death But against Daniel, the lion could do nothing.

Who is that man that has judged your matter and found you guilty and they have thrown you into a lion’s den? Notwithstanding, Jesus has declared you ‘not guilty.’ Therefore, that same God that shut the mouth of the lion in the case of Daniel is still alive and will be drafted into your matter. No doubt, He will shut the mouth of the lions assigned against you.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:

1. Wherever they have gathered to take counsel against me, let their counsel turn to foolishness, in Jesus’ name.

2. Any man or woman that has turned into a spiritual lion in order to oppress my life; behold the conquering Lion of the tribe of Judah. Be slain, in Jesus' name.

3. Any judgment hanging upon my neck; be cancelled in Jesus' name.

4. Any power on assignment to intimidate our G. O, our mummy in the Lord and their children; receive frustration, in Jesus’ name.
