THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: Hebrews 11:6

THEME: GOD IS READY, IF YOU ARE READY.

MESSAGE: 

“9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)

Jabez’s story was a pathetic one, but one which he overcame through great faith and implicit confidence in the power of God to turn around impossible situations. He was born with sorrow as his mother perceived and then given a name to tally with his mother’s thoughts. However, Jabez grew up and would have none of it, hence; he called upon God for a reversal of fortunes and God heard him and blessed him and enlarged his coast.

Many people came into the world seeing their situation to be like that of Jabez and called upon God in The Lord’s Chosen. Today, God has blessed them. Is your own situation the same as Jabez’s or even worse? Never mind. The God that answered Jabez and all the chosen people who have experienced God’s divine favour is still alive and can still answer prayer - only if you can call Him. That was exactly what Jabez did. The question now is: Can you do what Jabez did? He rejected poverty, backwardness and sorrow knowing that it was not the will of God for him. You must have the conviction that sorrow in whatever form, is not your portion and then call upon Him with faith. If you can call upon the God of the Chosen people that answers the prayers of our daddy in the Lord here in The Lord’s Chosen from the bottom of your heart, He will do it for you. It is as simple as that. Here, your faith is being called into action. Will you rise to the occasion? God is ready, if you are ready.

Worship/praise God and then take the following prayer points:
1. Any inherited yoke or bondage of poverty upon my life/destiny, be destroyed by the anointing, in Jesus' name.

2. Any household wickedness assigned against my foundation, catch fire, in Jesus' name.

3. I decree and declare that my survival does not depend on the world’s economy, but on heaven’s economy, in Jesus' name.

4. Whatever God has destined our G. O and our mummy in the Lord and The Lord’s Chosen ministry to become, no power can stop them, in Jesus' name.
