THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: ISAIAH 49:4 , Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nought, and in vain :yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.

THEME: THE ERA OF CATCHING NOTHING IS OVER

MESSAGE: 

"And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing, nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. 6. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. " (Luke 5: 5 -6)

The above scripture of toiling all day with nothing to show for their efforts represents the case of many people. Week to week; month to month and year to year, the story is always the same and they begin to wonder what has gone wrong. Remember, the disciples were without Jesus and they caught nothing. But as Jesus arrived at the scene, their story changed and they caught fishes to the point that their net almost broke and they began to call people to come and help them. Is your case the same as the disciples who caught nothing having worked all day? Are you among those that go to market very early and never sell anything from morning to night and even beg for transport money to return home? Jesus is telling you to cast your net again into the sea. So long as it has come out from the mouth of the Messiah, your net shall catch many fishes and will almost break because of the number of fishes therein. Your blessings shall be overflowing and you will call people to come and see what God has done in your life. In this period and season, whatever project you embark upon shall succeed. The Hand of God will be upon you and He will not give up on you. It is a period of relentless prayer.

Sing spirit filled songs unto God thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:

1. Any power behind unfruitfulness in my endeavours; be destroyed, in Jesus name.

2. Any ancestral covenant tying my breakthrough to idols, deities , local gods and goddesses; break and scatter , in Jesus name

3. Every prayer and intercession made by our G. O on my behalf, receive answers in Jesus name

4. I decree that The Lord's Chosen Ministry will increase numerically and our G.O and our Mummy in the Lord will increase in anointing, grace and power of God, in Jesus name.
