THEME: GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU AND DEFEND YOU.

TEXT: Psalm 35, Psalm 83:17

MESSAGE: 
"Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me." (Psalm 35:1)

Sometimes, enemies rise up against those who have done them no harm boasting and threatening to deal with them because of their money, connection and charms. When such situation arises, the safest move will be to invite God to take over the battle. He is a specialist in battle and never lost any. The Psalmist was a great warrior who fought many battles during his life. Yet, he understood that without God on his side, he would not be able to fight the battles of life. Right from his youth, he had seen the of power of God to wage wars as he received divine empowerment to tear to shreds both a lion and a bear.

What is the battle you are passing through in life and it appears as if the enemy is gaining upper hand? You must never allow your faith in God to wane. At that point when you seem to have exhausted your arsenal, expect the Holy Ghost to take control. 2 Corinthians 12:9 says. "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. "Therefore, take it to the Lord in prayer. He will fight for you and give you victory on every front. All those that strive with you and fight against you, the Lord will cause them to submit. The scripture says they shall be as nothing. Therefore, you should be confident and develop the boldness to ask God to fight your battle. Remember, it is a spiritual battle and cannot be fought with cudgels and bottles.

Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:
Every battle that I am passing through, Lord: fight for me and give me victory over all my enemies, in Jesus' name. Holy Spirit, wage war against all the powers of my father's house warring against me, in Jesus' name.
