THEME: YOU WILL NOT DIE IN THE HANDS OF YOUR ENEMY

TEXT: Isaiah 7:7

MESSAGE: 
"Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time. "(1 Kings 19:2)

Ahab relayed to his wife Jezebel how Prophet Elijah had seized the 450 prophets of Baal at Mount Carmel and slew all of them. She was wroth with anger and sent a messenger to Elijah threatening to kill him. 

Elijah went far away where her eyes would not see him. He was there tired of this life, until an angel brought him food to eat and refresh himself ahead of the tasks before him. So, God did not allow Elijah to die in the hands of his enemies. He is a just God; very responsive to the needs of His people. He was with Elijah and allowed no harm to befall him notwithstanding the ranting of Jezebel. Of course, we know the fate that befell Jezebel as she was thrown down from the storey building: Her blood spattered on the ground which the dogs later licked and there ate her flesh.

Maybe they have also sent an evil messenger to inform you that they are ready to kill you; threatening you because of their charms or their connection or financial position. The God of Elijah is still alive. He will not allow you to die in the hands of your enemies — no matter their threatening or those backing them.

Sing spirit filled songs unto God and thank Him for everything He has accomplished in your life and then take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:

1. Any man or woman or power threatening to take my life; I decree and declare your threats empty, null and void. I decree by the power in the name of Jesus, I will never die in the hands of my enemies, in Jesus' name.

2. Any arrow of death fired into my life; return back to your sender, in Jesus' name.

3. I ask for fresh consecration, renewed zeal and righteousness upon my life. Give me power for evangelism, fear of God, spirit of sanctification, in Jesus' name.
