THE CHOSEN DAILY DEVOTIONAL...

TEXT: Ezekiel 33

THEME: INTERCESSION IS VERY IMPORTANT

MEMORY VERSE: "And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land.... " (Ezekiel 22:30-31).

MESSAGE: 'What is intercession? It is to stand in the gap for someone or other people. It is a mark of selflessness whereby one considers the interests or plights of others to make intercessory prayers for them. When a man commits sin, the judgment is that of death and hell fire- However, whosoever is in a position to pray for him - to stand in the gap for him to change but never cares. Rather, he concentrates on praying for himself, business and family alone. God will require the blood of that sinful person from such a selfish believer.
That is why it is important that you pray for others and not just yourself, family and business alone. If they continue in sin because you refuse to pray, God will surely pour out His indignation upon them; but you will not receive a warm handshake for that negligence. Have you been praying for others too? If your answer is no, you must have a rethink today and begin to intercede for others.

Sing a few praise/worship songs. Make a thanksgiving prayer and ask God for mercies and the forgiveness of sins. Thereafter, take the following prayer points.

Prayer Points:
1. Any spirit of self operating in my life, come out and enter no more, in Jesus' name.

2. O God I pray: give me the power of intercession, in Jesus' name. Today, I stand in the gap for my family. the church. my country, all the backsliders, those being persecuted, the poor, the sick and the oppressed. Let God intervene and fight for them and settle the, in Jesus' name.

3. Any ancestral, witchcraft or marine spirit power opposing the prayer of my G. O for my life, let the power receive Holy sledge hammer, in Jesus' name

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement

Is a Revival Church Inspired by the Holy Spirit to bring the knowledge of salvation to all the kings and their subjects, to the masters and their servants, to the rulers and them that are being ruled all over the world.
The birth of the church was in response to the divine call of God received by the founder Pastor Lazarus Muoka.
Who consequently brought together some brethren (in their hundreds) on the 23rd of December, 2002, at its first location No.16 Odunaike Street, Ilasamaja Area of Lagos, Nigeria, and declared to them the great calling of God upon his life.

Our Vision
The Lord has given us a three-fold vision

Vision No. 1:

Grassroots Revival all over the world: With everywhere in the whole world as our mission field, we have the mission of taking the gospel message to everyone through every medium available, with our adoption of the Charismatic approach like the morning cry, bus evangelism, market evangelism, the use of the apron etc.

Vision No. 2:
Revival of the Apostolic Christian experiences among the body of Christ, The Lord has commissioned us to bring back and stir a revival and restoration of the Christian experience as: genuine salvation, sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, all the fruit of the Holy Spirit and accompanying gifts of the spirit among the body of Christ - A greater part of which hitherto seemed to have slept or lost their focus.

Vision No. 3:
Revival of Heaven consciousness among the body of Christ. With the language of communicating righteousness and holiness in the church gone so weak, such that sin is being taken for granted; with many going to church just to get the things of this world being grossly unmindful of godliness and heaven. God has given us, as our third vision, a re-awakening of the indispensable consciousness of heaven among the body of Christ and thus, ultimate - heaven at last.

Our Mandate
Our mandate is to bring 10 billion souls into the kingdom of God. Though the population of the world at the moment is not yet up to 10 billion; our mandate is simply an endless one. It is a mandate that will outlive us. That is why we shall never rest on our oars; regardless of the numerical strength of the ministry until every ground is covered!
