PAINS OF PLANNING WITHOUT GOD (EDO STATE YOUTH PROGRAMME)

TOPIC: PAINS OF PLANNING WITHOUT GOD
TEXT: ISAIAH 5:2, 1 CORINTHIANS 10:18-20, PROVERB 3:5-6
MESSAGE:
We have so many young stars who planed their career and take some steps in life without consulting God. They gave all in their pursuit, they only think of tomorrow's profit but do not know what tomorrow will bring about. James 4:13. God is not in their language of planning, they claim to be wise, smart and know everything they are doing, such young people's thought are only on their programmer, books and career.
They fail to realize that there will be pains tomorrow when they plan without God.
We shall consider this message under the following sub headings
1. PLANNING WITHOUT GOD AND THE PAINS
The problem of some young people who claim they know much when planning for their lives, business and career is that they plan without God, all that is in them is '' move on now.'' There is nothing wrong with planning, but it is bad and deadly to plan without God because, there will be pains to face tomorrow when we plan without him (Gen 16-8, Luke 12:21, psalm 52 vs 7)
The people who plan without God always have this type of planning statements such as:
1. They choose their own time and not God's time.
2. They choose school and location of their choice and not God's choice.
3 They choose their profession.
We should know that there will be a lot of pains and danger when we plan without God, God expect us to plan with Him, carry Him along when planning, and ask Him His opinion in our planning.
Reason been that He is God that knows everything and He is the creator of the universe (Psalm 24:1). He knows the beginning and the end, He knows your future and what you can do to have a brighter future (Colossians 1:16-18, Proverb 3:5-6)
Remember when we do not carry Him along in our planning, He will not force us rather He will leave us alone to make our decision and face the outcome of our decision in planning which may bring pains upon us such as failure, disappointments, regret, disgrace and woes.
2 PLANNING WITH GOD AND THE PROGRESS
EVERYONE who is here to day should know this that our life and accomplishments depend entirely on God, He has the power to preserve our lives, career, business and profession not to allow any evil and problems to befall us.
Again planning on what to do and how to spend the life that God has graciously given must be done with God. So, every plan or action must be brought to the light of God plan and purpose for our lives on earth (Romans 15:32)
Just as Paul the apostle did, he always want to know and see God having His way in his planning, he carry God along in his planning, as a result he made a lot of progress (1 Corinthians 4:19, 16:7). So, you can follow the foot prints of Paul the apostle in carrying God along in your planing and decisions in other to have a great progress and success.
In planning with God, four things must be considered;
1. Start with prayers.
2. Construct the plan.
3. Calculate the profit.
4. Conclude with prayers.
Finally, God is always ready to hear from you and to be with you, He is even waiting for your knock.
