TOPIC: REMEMBER MERCY OH LORD!
INTRODUCTION TO THE MESSAGE: Brethren, maybe you have been going through terrible situation for a very long time, and you have done everything humanly possible, but the problem continued, nothing works for you, your prayers are not answered and you are not sure of your future, sorrow is the order of the day.
NOTE: The only remedy for you is "The Mercy of God", or if you have given up, the mercies of God is available for you.
For better comprehension of this message, we shall consider the following points;
POINT 1: EXAMPLES AND REASONS
Many people offended the Lord in time of old in the Bible days and as a result, they were under the judgement of God and the effect of His judgement were around them. The Israelites had such case severally on their journey to Egypt, Moses pleaded for mercy, the Lord pardoned and had mercy upon them and the judgement upon them was canceled. Number 14:1; Judges 2:19; Judges 3:6; Judges 4:1; Judges 6:1; Judges 10:7-8; 13:1. The children of Nineveh also sinned against God, they asked for forgiveness and He had mercy on them. Jonah 3:1-10; Jonah 2:1-3; Psalm 51:1-17; 2nd Samuel 12:13.
Remember, Abimelec ,Peter, Mary Magdalene and many others sinned against Him and cried for mercy and mercy was shown to them. Micah 7:18; Lamentation 3:22; Zachariah 1:14-16.
POINT 2: OUR RESPONSES AND BENEFITS.

As you have made up your mind to sin no more, mercy will come your way, He will fight for you, favour will follow you, He will put a new song in your mouth in Jesus' name.
CONCLUSION:
For sinners and backsliders they should repent, give their lives to Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and personal saviour 1 John 3:8; 1 John 5:17a; Jeremiah 4:30; 2nd Corinthians 5:17; Romans 1:29; Romans 10:13, Mathew 6:33.
