THEME: REAPING WHAT YOU HAVE SOWN
TEXT: Galatians 6:7-8
7. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
MEMORY VERSE: While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. Genesis 8:22
MESSAGE:
Seed sowing is important and a continual process. As long as one lives, he will continue
to sow seeds. In agriculture, a farmer that does not sow will not expect anything during harvest. Moreover the quality of your harvest will depend on the quality of the seeds sown and the soil into which the seed is sown.
And so any man that needs quality harvest should sow quality seed and in a fertile soil.
If you sow quality seed in an impoverished soil, you will not get quality harvest. Also if you sow any-how-seed in a quality soil, you will still not get quality harvest. Therefore be wise, quality seed sown in a fertile (quality) soil produces abundant harvest.
In the same way, in Christendom, seed sowing is a continuous process and it makes the church or ministry to continue to thrive while the sowers reap blessing that accompany it. As it is to a farmer, so it is to a Christian. Any child of God that does not sow, will not reap. If you sow poor seed as a child of God, you will also reap poor blessing.
2 Corinthians 9:6 "But this I say, He that soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. "
You are expected to sow bountifully in order to reap bountiful blessing. You have been hearing testimonies to that effect here.
On the other hand, if you sow a bountiful seed in a dead church, you will reap little or nothing just like a farmer who sows good seed in a poor soil. But Chosen is a fertile place to sow and people have been sowing and reaping bountifully here. You will also reap your own as you sow. However remember, it is not always that when you sow seed (money) and God will give you money in return.
The money (seed) you sow to God can make God to grant you admission, business breakthrough, save you from accident or attack of the enemy, give you a child or change the sex of your baby in the womb etc, so it is God that determines the body that your seed will take, not you.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray that the seed you have sown or will sow will make impossibility become possible in your life.
Pray diversely according to your need.
AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
