TEXT: Matthew 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
MEMORY VERSE: Galatians 5: 14
MESSAGE:
Do to others what you will tike them to do unto you, that is the golden rule. If brethren know and apply this rule, there won't be any evil in the church. But most times this is not the case. If you know and may be feel the pain when a particular action or behavior is meted out to you, you will not exhibit that kind of behavior to others. It is common to see brethren gossiping about their fellow brethren or speaking evil against their fellows or sponsor allegation against a fellow brother, all in a bid to curry favour or remove a brother from his position. If you are given to such behavior as a brother or sister, remember the golden rule. The evil you are brooding or planning against others, if they plan it against you, will you like it? Love your neighbour as yourself is not seeking his/her down fall. Remember when you are pointing a finger at another person, the other four are pointing at you. You should not be envious of another man's/woman's success or position. God is not partial. The things of this world are turn by turn. Instead of sponsoring false allegation against your fellow brother or Pastor in order for him to lose his position, pray to God to remember you. Note, if that brother or Pastor is removed from that position, the position may not be given to you, even if you manipulate and get the position, you can be disgraced out of it or God may even kill you in that position because you did not get there by divine placement but through cunning, craftiness, so be warned. Church is not a village meeting or political party where you have so many intrigues and evil plans against your opponent.
You did not come to church because of posts and no matter how you manipulate, if God says you will not get a particular post, you will never get it, so concentrate on serving God in righteousness and He will divinely place you where He wants you to be.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray that God will help you to love your neighbour as yourself.
Ask God to separate you from mischief makers in the church.
AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
