THEME: BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU DO BECAUSE JUDGMENT IS COMING
TEXT: Romans 2:6-9
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
MEMORY VERSE: Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. Eccl 11 :9
MESSAGE:
God has record of all the actions and activities of men. Whatever you do is being recorded, whether it is good or evil. God is watching everybody Christians and non-Christians. If you claim to be a Chosen but you live a hypocritical life, He knows, You cannot deceive him. Whether as a Pastor, leader, worker, member etc He knows everybody and your titles. However, He is not looking at your title because title cannot save any man/woman. People might not know what you are doing, may be as a Pastor, leader worker etc. you are into fornication or adultery, or stealing church money or you hide to drink beer or smoke cigarette and lick sweet to cover up, God is seeing you.
Look at Romans 2:6 of our text above "... who will render to every man according to his deeds..." You can deceive Pastor and people around but you can never deceive God. You have one life to live and that is what you are living now. If you don't take heed to the kind of life you live now, you will cry had I known at last.
Remember the brethren that have passed on, it is true we call them brethren but who knows where they are now?
You still have opportunity because you are still alive, you can still repent, better make use of this opportunity so that it will not slip you by. Amend your ways, no matter how little the sin is, stop it now and have a true repentance before it is too late,
Our memory verse is counseling the youth in the same direction. Let them rejoice in their youth and walk in the ways of their heart and in the sight of their eyes but let them know "... for all these, God will bring them into judgment." So let everybody be warned, be careful of what you do because God will bring all to judgment.
PRAYER POINTS:
Pray and ask God to seriously search you and remove the little foxes in you thot spoil the vine.
Ask God to remove every adamant sin in you
AMEND YOUR WAYS: If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8). If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness, kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent. Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism? Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4) Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce (A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman? Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY: If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me: Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins. Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore. I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior. I surrender my life to you. Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
