SUNDAY SERVICE MESSAGE AT TLCCRM INT'L HQ, IJESHA, LAGOS, NIGERIA.

TOPIC: FOR I AM NOT COME TO CALL THE RIGHTEOUS TO REPENTANCE

TEXT: Mathew 9:10-13; Luke 19:10; John 10:10

INTRODUCTION TO THE MESSAGE:
Our Master, Jesus Christ came into the world as a Saviour/Messiah (Matthew 1:21; John 4 25-26). As a result of this, He went every where seeking for the lost souls and had no problem
in relating with sinners, because of His mission and mandate (Luke 19:10). He went about everywhere seeking, preaching and winning them into the kingdom of God (Matthew 4:16-24; Mark 1:15; Acts 10:38, Luke 2:46-49).

At His first coming, He came as the son of God, Man, Servant, Minister, Saviour, soul winner, Messiah and yet had the foremost knowledge of whom He is (John 10:30, John 1:1). Though He was always found with sinners, yet He was not defiled by them nor lose focus; He was never a compromiser (Hebrew 7:26). He successfully fulfilled His ministry and won many souls into the kingdom of God.

For better understanding, we shall consider this message under the following subheadings:
1. The First Coming Of Christ And Reasons.
2. The Second Coming, Role And Our Response.

POINT 1. THE FIRST COMING OF CHRIST AND REASONS:
Our Master and Lord Jesus Christ came into the world the first time because of the fall of Man in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:7-10, Romans 2:3). The sin of Adam and Eve gave satan the right to capture every soul that comes into this world through the contact of man and woman (Genesis 5:1-3; John 10:10; Ephesians 2:1-3).
He separated man from God, and man became lost and started hiding from God, as a result of this, every human being was counted to be lost in the sight of God, but God in His mercies sent His only begotten son to search and recover the lost man. Psalm 2:8; John 3:6; Romans 2:23 The reason for His first coming was to seek and save sinners and He went everywhere sinners could be found and won them. Matthew 4:17-25; Act 10:38.

POINT 2: THE SECOND COMING, ROLE AND OUR RESPONSE
Jesus Christ is coming the second time to collect His saint (The chosen). At the sound of the trumpet, all those who are saved and living right, and those who died in the Lord shall ascend in the air to meet with the Lord to path no more. 1 Corinthians 15:51:52; He is not coming as Saviour, Messenger, Soul winner, nor as the Messiah, He will appear as the Lord of lords and the King of kings, He is coming in power and great glory Matthew 24:30; Revelation 19:16-17.
Secondly, let us use the advantage of our forth coming crusade ( March 5th & 6th, 2016) to go all out, preach in season and out of season to recover the lost. Besides, we should prepare for the rapture of the saints by ensuring purity inside and outside. Mark 16:15; 2 Timothy 4:1-2; Ephesians 5:26-27; 1 Peter 1:15-16;

CONCLUSION:
For sinners and backsliders to be saved, they must confess their sins and repent of them, ask Jesus Christ to come into their lives and go on to ask for other experience that makes for fabulous blessings, and they shall be totally free in Jesus' Name (Romans 3:23; 6:23; 1st John 3:8-9;1st John 5:17a; John 10:10; John 6:36; Proverb 28:13; Mathew 6:33; Romans 10:13).
