THEME: COME OUT OF THE VALLEY OF DECISION
TEXT: Joel 3:14
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
MEMORY VERSE: And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15.
MESSAGE:
In our world today, many people claim to be Christians but if you ask them if they are born-again, they won't give you a definite answer. The Bible says in John 3:3 "And Jesus answered said unto him verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man be born-again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God." This scripture is self explanatory. In many places, millions of people can fill the church auditorium, but how many are born-again?
Sadly, majority of these people have been going to church over the years without proof of genuine repentance. In other words, they are convinced but not convicted. Yes, they want to identify with Jesus, but are not willing to forgo worldly pleasure. No, you cannot carry a heavy load of worldliness and follow Jesus Christ. It cannot work.
These people are undecided, one leg in the church, another leg in the world. They are in the valley of decision and the Lord has been stretching His hand to draw them out through the preaching of His servant accompanied by unprecedented signs and wonders. So, what will be your excuse?
In our memory verse, the people of Israel were in that situation and Joshua challenged them to choose whom they would serve, but as for him and the family, they would serve the living God. Dear reader, make up your mind today to come out of that valley and the angels in heaven will rejoice because of you.
PRAYER POINTS:
¶ Pray and make up your mind to serve the Lord.
¶ Ask God to deliver you from the valley of decision.
AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
