MESSAGE FROM THE PULPIT

TOPIC: THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS!

TEXT: Ezekiel 34:25, 26; Joel 2:25-27; Isaiah 27:3; Psalm 1:3

MESSAGE:
Our God has designed this day to bless us in every area of our lives, you may have been blessed through this month but today even if you are a new comer, there shall be showers of blessing today, God will rain His showers of blessing and your lives shall never remain the same.
For better understanding we shall consider the following sub-heading:

POINT 1: THE REASONS FOR THE SHOWERS AND THE CERTAINTY OF IT:
Last month God gave us blessings in abundance and He who knows the principle of retaining and receiving blessings has design this month to shower His blessings on the blessings received and also He has decided to restore His glory lost by our first father Adam and decided to grace the blessing with showers so that we will continue to enjoy His blessings. Hebrew 2:6-10. He has made us to know that evey aspect of his blessings constitute His glory. Therefore, as we retain His blessings more shall be added and this can only be possible when the showers of blessing falls on the blessing received as the case of a farmer sowing and expecting the rain to fall. John 15:14, 2Corinthians 2:16-18, without God we can do nothing as we stay in his presence and behold His Glory, all our expectations shall be granted. Why? because all blessings constitute his glory. God has brought us today to water us with blessing so that we will not decrease. 2 Corinthians 4:14, Isaiah 27:3. He is also set to restore all we have lost in the time past because He can not lie or change. Joel 2:25-27, Genesis 22:16-18; Malachi 3:6, Hebrew 6:18; Psalm 89:33-35.

POINT 2: BENEFITS OF THE SHOWERS AND OUR RESPONSE:
When we are covered in God's righteousness, faith, Holiness, Love, meekness, Humility, when we are covered with the image of his son we shall never be short of blessing we will move continually with the presence of God. Romans 8:31-32, Ezekiel 34:26-30, 1Peter 3:12; God don't want us to be ashamed, He wants our lives to bring glory to Him so He is willing to give us all things. He wants all His children to be the head and not the tail. Deuteronomy 28:11-13; Luke 10:19, Matthew 5:14-16, if we desire the showers, our obligation and response is to ask for it, Matthew 7:7-8

CONCLUSION:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.

LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
