THEME: TRUST IN THE LORD
TEXT: Psalms 37:3-4
3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
MEMORY VERSE: Isaiah 40:11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11
MESSAGE:
We have a dependable God who is able to do all things. It does not matter the trouble or confusion in the world, God remains God, He cannot change. Situations and circumstances do not move Him because He is in control of the affairs of men. However, man, because of his depraved nature is always afraid and at times does not believe again that God is all powerful. Most times man is controlled by what he sees and not what God is saying. If you (man) can trust God in everything, God will be everything for you. Not trusting God has made man to be afraid, even what he believes God can do, fear most times makes him forget that. Not minding all that God had done for the Israelites, when they saw Pharaoh and his army matching towards them, they where still afraid and cried unto Moses why did he bring them to die in the wilderness instead of trusting God that has been fighting their battles all this while. Exodus 14:13-14. The disciples of Jesus were in a ship sailing with Him, suddenly there was a storm and instead of trusting in their master to calm the storm, they were afraid.
Their fear could not stop the storm until they cried unto the master and he rebuked the storm and everywhere became calm.
(Luke 8:23-25). If only you can trust in the Lord, He will take charge and calm all your fears and also intervene in that matter giving you sleepless nights.
PRAYER POINTS:
* Pray that no matter what happens, you will trust in the Lord.
* Command destruction upon every spirit of fear and anxiety plaguing your life.
AMEND YOUR WAYS:
If you are not born again you must do something as a matter of urgency. He that commits sin is of the devil (1 John 3:8).
If you are into lying, cheating, bitterness, keeping malice, pride, manifesting anger, quarreling, unforgiveness, hatred, envy, contention, strife, gossiping, taking or giving bribe, selfishness,
kidnapping. If you are into masturbation, fornication, adultery, prostitution, abortion, lesbianism, homosexuality, you need to repent.
Are you into idolatry, do you make or use charms, rituals, bow down to images, Are you into occultism?
Do you smoke cigarette, cocaine, heroine? Are you lusting, covetous, alcohol drinking, divorcee or into worldliness?, you must stop bleaching your body, or painting your lips, eyes, fixing attachments, weave-on, earrings (Gen 35:2-4)
Are you one of those that put on nude dresses, short skirts, transparent dresses to seduce
(A seducer is not a Christian) do you wear trouser as a woman?
Repent and give your life to Jesus Christ.
LET'S PRAY:
If you want to give your life to JESUS pray this short prayer with me:
Almighty God, I come unto you in the name of Jesus. Father I confess that I am a sinner. All my sins I confess to you. I am very sorry for all my sins.
Lord I promise you that from today I will never continue in them anymore.
I believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the third day for my justification. Almighty God, use the blood of Jesus to wash my sins away. Lord Jesus, come into my heart, be my Lord and Personal Savior.
I surrender my life to you.
Cancel my name from the book of death and give me grace to make Heaven. AMEN!
